WP hosted the BLUE BULLS in their semi-final of the Currie Cup Premier Division today, at Newlands, Cape Town. The Bulls won a nail-biter with 7 Morne Steyn penalties. Bulls won 21 / 19.
The SHARKS hosted the CHEETAHS in their semi-final of the Currie Cup Premier Division today, at ABSA Stadium, Durban. The Cheetahs won the game in the last minute with a drop goal by Jacques-Louis Potgieter. Cheetahs won 23 / 21.
Meetings was held on Friday afternoon. Muir was offered the job ahead of Heyneke Meyer. Muir will also be responsible for coaching the S14 side next year if he does hold on to the position.
Manie Reyneke said that a final decisi0n will be made in the next couple of days.
The Pumas hosted the SWD Eagles in Witbank for the final of the Currie Cup First Division tonight. The Pumas won comfortably by 47 / 19, after already leading 21 / 9 at half time.

The finalists for the semi-finals of the Currie Cup Premier Division 2009 has finally been decided.
The Lions hosted the WP in the last match in the play-off rounds for the Currie Cup of 2009. The Lions won a very hard fought match, 27 / 25.
The Boland were crushed by the Freestate who scored 9 tries to the 1 scored by Boland.
The GWK Griquas hosted the Sharks in the last match for both teams in the play-off rounds for the Currie Cup of 2009. The Sharks beat the Griquas by 15 points denying Griquas into the Currie Cup semi’s. Sharks won 45 / 30.
There are two matches taking place in the final weekend of Absa Currie Cup pool stage rugby that will be watched with great interest by a majority of rugby fans as both The Sharks and Western Province seek bonus point wins over Griquas and the Lions.
