So much was said about the so called Bokke Dirt Tracker side who came back empty-handed from their End Of Year Tour. What went wrong? Was it a total failure? Some of the players came through this with reputations now blown to pieces.
WP Nel, the Cheetahs prop has been named in the Barbarians squad to play the All Blacks at Twickenham on 5 December 2009.
The Springbok Management have delayed the naming of the squad to face the Irish at Croke Park on Saturday due to a long list of injuries and niggles that some of the front line Bokke have sustained against Italy and on Tour.
After reading the player ratings in Rapport and on Rugby365 and elsewhere, I could not find a writer who felt the same as the other or whom I agreed with…. so, here’s my Bokke player ratings.
The Proteas took on England in the 2nd ODI after the First ODI was totally rained out. England won with 4 overs spare.
Ireland eventually ran out comfortable winners, beating Fiji 41 / 6.
