@ nortie:Yeah, and the Aussie back line has proved that, every time they have got the ball tonight.

To be honest, watching the Aussies I am reminded of how we play, or should play.
Strong and solid scrum, power game, forward runners taking the ball in channel one through phases and over the advantage line, softening and committing the opposition forwards in defense….then going wide.
    Kicking for territory.

It looks like a clinical Bok performance this

Very similar, perhaps just some slicker ball skills showing from the Aussies, but thats probably just down to the slippery shaved ewe competitions the love so much at the village fetes

I could watch that second Wallabie try all day

Not nice for the public and the tournament to have the hosts out so soon. Can’t see them coming back from this.

No, bur we have to be honest with ourselves. There is no way England deserve to go forward with this performance.

England shouldn’t have been in a do or die game against Australia. They messed up big time last week, after having the game in the bag.

They lost their WC last week

Yeah, its really gone to his head. Shame really, because he has a lot of talent. I think he must have Quad Cooper disease

and Oz winning the breakdown situations. Slowing the Poms ball and creating turnovers.

  • 127

    This is drastic stuff

  • 128

You can hear the cracking of knuckles from the scousers who bet all their dole and lotto money on England to win the WC.

I think Lancaster and his team will be on the first plane out of England after their last game, I don’t think it will be safe for them to go home

  • 129

124 @ nortie:I agree, but they weren’t good enough to win last week, and on this showing so far, they are not good enough to win this match either.

I think that Lancaster, Farrell, et al have been seriously exposed. Just not up to modern rugby

  • 130

Oh well it is a game of 2 halves.

Lets hope the next 40 minutes are a little more productive for England!

  • 131

Oz is also moving the quick ruck ball and finding huge gaps behind the English defense

Looks like the English Chariot is in for repairs… the wheels are off!

It’s a British made chariot, unreliable like a Landrover or a Mini built by Leyland

Robshaw’s fiancé must already walk with a Rottweiler for protection after last week’s call. People accosting her and insulting her in the street.

  • 134

Carol, English forwards need to challenge breakdown ball slow it down, and their defensive line speed needs to be much faster. I dont understand why they are sitting back watching Oz run at them?

  • 135

Ah, well, England readying itself for some serious jetty-jumping, womanising, drinking & dwarf tossing? 🙂

She’s been walking with a rottie ever since she got engaged

George Ford coming on to replace Johnny May

    @ Just For Kicks:
I also fell into the trap of believing the hype and the home ground advantage and all that, saw my arse with them last week.

But if one is honest, this is not a good team, their best player (not on today’s showing so far) is Brown, and if there were a World side to be picked today he will, at best, be third behind Folau and Ben Smith.

They don’t have stand out players, they haven’t win a 6 nations under Lancaster, they beat NZ a few years back, and that is their only claim to fame.

Maybe they come out in the second half and make me eat humble pie, but I think this Oz side might just make it 3 World Cups, all in England

England have 40 min to redeem themselves

    😆
Now that is a good one

  • 142

If the Ozzmob score 1st in the 2nd Half, then it will be tickets!

Folau struggling to take any ball in the air, very unlike him

Agree 100% with everything except Aus winning it.

Pocock steals another one… off Mike Brown

  • 146

    @ Just For Kicks:
You get through this group unbeaten, they face Scotland…my money on Aus.
Then face Arg/France/Ireland in the semi…my money on Aus
Then it’s NZ or SA in the final…they have beaten both this year, even stevens

  • 147
