England scrum not working at all tonight. Seeing how the scrum crabs each time the ball is put in, I think these Aussies are up to something.

    Great try

    TMO

  • 94

    WHO NEEDS QUADE COOPER???

    Brilliant!

  • 95

Englands midfield defence absolutely hopeless. Foley, knife, butter and hot, again

  • 96

No forward pass, the try stands!!

  • 97

That try, and that defence has just put England out of the World Cup, I am afraid.

  • 98

Oh well, think that’s it for the hosts. What a pity!

  • 99

    Wallabies 17 / 3 England

Since the Aussies got Mario Ledezmo in as scrum consultant they are no easy pushovers anymore.

The NZ scrum dominated the Argies in the RC, but the Aus scrum dominated NZ in their win.

As long as they can get parity with the Pom scrum it should be more than ok, their back line is far superior and without milking 3 point scrum penalties England have nothing else to fall back on

Well, we tried. We hoped in vain. But when you’re just plain useless – as England have shown in defence tonight – what more can we do.

The gap between Farrell and Brad Barrit was so big, one could see it from the moon!

  • 105

Ben Youngs too busy complaining to ref at break down . He needs to play rugby

  • 106

  • 108

No worries hooper, run in with your fist, they wont punish you 😀

  • 109

Hooper might be cited for that one…

  • 110

@ nortie:Yeah, and the Aussie back line has proved that, every time they have got the ball tonight.

  • 111

    Lemoenetyd… time for Oranges…

I am afraid that my observations about Brown seem to be ringing true. The boy has lost it. Wasted talent. Being a bit of an email.

    @ Just For Kicks:
Not nice for the public and the tournament to have the hosts out so soon. Can’t see them coming back from this.

No, bur we have to be honest with ourselves. There is no way England deserve to go forward with this performance.

That reminds me, there used to be a street in Pretoria called “crunt” street. 😆

To be honest, watching the Aussies I am reminded of how we play, or should play.
Strong and solid scrum, power game, forward runners taking the ball in channel one through phases and over the advantage line, softening and committing the opposition forwards in defense….then going wide.
    Kicking for territory.

It looks like a clinical Bok performance this

True Ozzies look in a different class.

  • 119

Looks like the English Chariot is in for repairs… the wheels are off!

  • 120

Aussie backs outplaying poms backline. English forwards need to step up to prevent good quick ball .
