Ja shame, too many Black Labels taken with the Tourette medication and $&#’s your uncle

Too many black labels must be a good thing. Any less and HM would have had Cosato on his back again

Are you guys seeing Brian O’Driscoll on telly? I am impressed with his summarising too. Knows his stuff

Nope, we have John Mitchell, who is ok, and AJ Venter, who is actually not too bad either

It’s a fine line, too many castles and he will be accused of longing for the days of colonization.

Lucky for him Lion is off the market, we know he doesn’t like Lions

Nah, we don’t see him here in SA

When you see these guys playing, they certainly don’t look like they have any grey matter upstairs – when listening to most SA ex-players, that is certainly the case – but every now and then, they surprise you

    Brilliant!!!

Ireland not impressive today, stupid errors every couple of phases, especially when they are on attack in the 22.

They are falling in my estimation, and have no chance of progressing to the final if they want to play like this

  • 38

    Try Keith Earls again… Ireland

  • 39

Nice try. Ireland should walk this now.

  • 40

    Ireland 25 / 3 Romania

  • 41

Good finish to get the try, but what should worry them is how their line out maul made no headway at all.

Took some individual brilliance to salvage the try

Do you expect any more when working with a bunch of OAP’s

@ nortie:Like I said on the previous thread, the average age of this Ireland team makes them the oldest team at the WC – ever!

    Their bench is even older

Well, that blows the theory of with age comes wisdom right out of the water

  • 46

No clear release by Ireland.. Romania penalty

  • 47

    89 200 packed into Wembley… jeeez!

  • 48

More people at the stadium than at the NZ/Arg game

  • 49

    89,276

  • 50

Romania lineout, on their own 5… they will have to be sharp to clear this

I think the wizened old ones know when to retire

  • 52

Stupid decision to charge down the kick, with his angle Ireland could have had the throw in close to the line

Some of them do and did, but was coaxed out of their old age age homes

  • 54

    Romania brilliant with their disruption

  • 55

Romania penalty, deep inside their own 22, middle of the field

I suppose the only consolation there is that at least we don’t have to listen to their commentary if they’re still playing. Skinstad and co. are plenty enough

  • 57

These Transalvanians look like they have 10 extra players on the field

  • 58

Irish, for the most part, just don’t seem to know what to do with the ball when given to them

  • 59

One foot on the ground. Fine
