I think Gold is useless…. for some reason I still see him as the guy with in head in hands on table when Maa busted through John Smit to set up the try for Dagg in 2010…it’s funny how that one incident should define how I judge this Gold character as weak….I can’t see him turning things around for the Sharks…

Allister Coetzee was also only an assistant, and even though he won’t ever win a SR trophy, he still took the Stormers as high as he could at times. Heyneke was also only a technical advisor at the Boks, as was Jake at one stage.

I know he was the assistant coach at the time…but his body language after that game left an impression on me that he was no good….When he got the Sharks gig I thought they were scrapping the bottom of the barrel…and I think I’m right…cos he’s taking the Sharks nowhere…. He hasn’t a plan…and doesn’t inspire confidence…
I wish HG was around…

Even if he was a blogger on this site it is unlikely that he would have been around today.
On Keo he used to disappear after Shark losses..sometimes for as long as a week..only to appear again… remember the one kiwi ( Poppa?) called him Karma Chameleon.. 🙂
