    @ Bullscot:
#209 predictive text, should be cricketing philosophy I-see-stars also mean sensible attacking not just sommer six or nix stuff

    @ MacroBull:
I know. At least we have bragging rights for two weeks in a row. 😆

Your team showed some real positive signs on Friday night. The intent to play running/positive rugby was clear to see. Hope they stay on that path.

That waslucky for Amla. Some steep bounce.

  • 215

Edged for 4 through vacant 1st slip. Amla again lucky.

  • 216

Double chance for a run out. India botched it. Amla survives again.

    @ Nama:
The sharks after yesterday are still the distant sa favorites.

Ac needs to decide if he l gives the fans what they want and play coleman or play winning rugby with the greek.

  • 218

Hopefully that miss field by Kohli will get Amla going now. Sometimes you need soething like that as a batsman.

  • 219

    @ Nama:
We dont have the forwards to give quick ball if we play running rugby also when we try to go wide and give guys like jan and jj space they dont have support either. Fark knows where our forwards are. But apparantly they ideal for the bulls (&therefore bok) gameplan… Except lappies of course.

  • 220

We will start panicking now… Gosh we are in trouble… Scoreboard pressure

Gosh you are a bit ahead of us, was just sitting down to my bowl of Pronutro Happy

Amla’s luck has run out. Under pressure trying to hook because Faf is doing vokkol.

  • 223

    @ Nama:
He shouldnt have to be under pressure. We still have plenty of time. Sorry, cant blame faf for that wicket.

  • 224

    @ Bullscot:
Eks nog uit die oude doos. Tussen 12uur en 1 uur op ‘n Sondagmiddag moet daar geeet word. Daarna koerant (of vandag krieket) en ‘n middagslapie. Wink

  • 225

38/1 after 10 overs so we have not kept all our wickets and batted too slowly, oh well still 40 overs cricket can be a funny game it is not over yet.

  • 226

    @ MacroBull:
That was not a “natural” shot for Amla. Shows you that he felt some pressure because we were not scoring. Faf is on 8 runs from 21 balls atm. That’s a less than 40% SR.

    @ Nama:
#224 klink soos my jong dae, ma het baie keer die kos aangesit voor ons kerk toe was dan koop pa die Sunday Times op pad huistoe en ek way my beurt om te lees, dan ook bietjie middag slaapie ook. Life is quite different here now.

  • 228

    @ Bullscot:
This ground is just too big to go all out attack. Run chases here are extremely difficult. Only wait is to knock it about for 35-40 overs to chase successfully.

  • 229

    @ Bullscot:
We need a 100+ partnership to steady the innings. Hopefully the former pupils of Pierre Edwards can do it for us now.

  • 230

India is bowling very well. Credit to their bowlers must also be due….still plenty of time and decent batsmen.
As long as we don’t fall too far behind the run rate, we should be ok.
If AB and Duminy or Miller is set on 50 plus with 10 overs to go, anything is possible

  • 231

Oh dear just when was thinking it was crucial for Amla to be there for a long time. Will Philander be able to bat ok if needed, if not it is a long tail.

  • 232

    @ Bullscot:
Vernon was fummbling in the field so im sure he will bat

  • 233

    @ MacroBull:
#228 attack can come in different forms not just hitting sixes, can keep on using feet to a spinner and trying to get runs off each ball singles twos threes etc try stop the bowlers from settling into a groove, also chase the fielders around try get them hassled and annoyed and then maybe the over throws come too.

  • 234

    @ MacroBull:
#232 phew ok thanks think he is such a valuable player

  • 235

    @ nortie:
Agree that the Indian bowlers are doing a good job but it also seems as if the pitch has changed a bit since we started batting. Probably to do with the night time.

  • 236

    235 @ Nama:
Very possible…..and of course, they don’t have Parnell in their line up, that’s a huge plus

  • 237

    Shot

  • 238

“The fielders can become spectators and the spectators can become fielders.”

Two 4’s in a row by AB. When is he going to make the above line come true? Delighted

  • 239

    @ nortie:
At least we’ll have someone to blame if we lose. I wonder who they will blame if we chase down their score. Wink

  • 240

We shouldnt leave too much for the laat ten overs. From the way india capitulated. Cant slog.
