    @ MacroBok:
Ek neem dus aan dat jy vir Marcelle ‘n 8 sou gee. Reg?

    @ Nama:
Asook oor willie le roux “15. Willie
A fairly good game compared what he produced this year. Still a far cry from the Willie that hit the rugby world by storm last year. 6/10”

Is die IRB ook belaglik? 😉

I suppose a win is a win so congrats to SA.

However I was anything but impressed and reckon that less than a year out from RWC there is an AWFUL lot of work required.

Mike Brown must be one of the worlds best players under the high ball. Something that anyone can watch in the Aviva, the Euro Champs or at test level and yet SA just kept kicking to him.

    Why?

What is the definition of insanity? Or were SA working on the assumption that he must drop one eventually?

    @ Nama:
In my opinie was hy ons bezte voorspeler so ek so onderskei tussen hom en die ander so 7 sal reg wees.

    @ MacroBok:
    Jy raak nou belaglik. 😉

Flippet looks like we might have to just attack. Wont survive this defending

  • 398

    Rossouw’s looking the part.

Elkeen is natuurlik geregtig op sy opinie. 😀

    @ Nama:
En rapport sin is nie belaglik nie 😛 maar ek verstaan hoekom jy nie hom crediet sal gee nie, ek sien een site se marcel het 20 tackles gemaak, in daai geval is dit seker 8/10.

  • 401

We have almost no way of controlling this bounce. No wonder morkel got a fiver.

  • 402

    @ MacroBok:
“…ek sien een site se marcel het 20 tackles gemaak…”

Verdere bewys dat Engeland die span was wat balbesit oorheers het.

  • 403

    @ Nama:
Vat nogsteeds niks weg van Marcel nie. Engeland het baie balbesit gehad in die begin maar hulle het nerens gekom nie agv ons verdediging wat krediet verdien?.

  • 404

    Crazy eyes seals the deal.

  • 405

    @ gunther:
Bit too close for comfort!! At least it’s one all at the moment

  • 406

    @ gunther:
Really nervous there, was weary of Mitch, but AB won us the game.

  • 407

The openers owe us some runs in the next ODI
Rossouw batted quite well but should have converted it into a better score.
I’m really glad Morkel did so well today

    Well done Proteas !!

  • 408

Well done Proteas. Sets up the 5 match series nicely.

The Australian media have started calling Glen Maxwell “The Big Show”

Morne chirped something to that effect when he got him out for 0.

  • 410

    @ Jeraldjay:

It was his team mates that’s started it.

    Apparently he hates it.

Especially on a day like this.

    😆

    @ gunther:

    The “Big No-show”

    Well today anyway.

    @ IAAS:

Indeed I think that was Haydos chirp.

I am happy today, after the Springboks win…

In the last 4 Tests, the Springboks conquered 3 of the serious World Cup contenders for 2015 (Wallabies, All Blacks & England) and had one anomaly against Ireland…. after the Springbok players had not been playing for 5 weeks – so let’s call that loss a blimp on the radar / anomaly / rustyness / complacency or whatever…. but a loss it still was.

Bokke were still solid in the set pieces, as we want them to be… but they radically improved at the breakdowns from the week before. I also sensed that they protected the scrumhalf (Reinach) better than was the case against Ireland.. and I also noticed that their forwards attacks were closer around the rucks and breakdowns than the week before (I specifically wanted that and voiced my opinion as such during the week).

Intensity and concentration was much better and dicipline was good, except for the freegin Yellow Card.

Bokke were still a bit bleak on attack in the backline, but then again so too are the All Blacks at present in the Northern Hemisphere conditions.

Bokke defence was solid, bar the 5 or 10 minutes period which coincided with Matfield’s Yellow Card, where England quickly scored 14 points.

Bokke fitness & conditioning also looks good…

Singling players out this week seems a bit wrong, I think it was a collective effort by all of them. Our loosies all did well, Schalla was very good, so too Marcell & Duane. The halfbacks made a couple of glaring errors, but also played bloody well at times. Lambie’s chippie which Willie le Roux gathered (and who’s pass sent Reinach over for the try) was excellent.

    Overall a happy picture today.

Not a faultless performance, but a nicely improved performance from the week before.

I’d rather not comment on some of the player ratings bandied about, becuase I consider them laughable.

    hahaha @ ratings laughable.

Expect the wrath of Namaqaland. In full fury.

Agreed, a major improvement on all fronts. I was impressed by Reinach on starting debut, if he works on his kicking from the base of the ruck he’ll be challenging for a regular starting place.

    Yes, NAMASCARA’s ratings are laughable.

In the last 4 Tests we’ve beaten the Wallabies, All Blacks and England.

The 6 REALISTIC World Cup contenders are: All Blacks, Springboks, Wallabies, England, France and Ireland… the rest will be also runs.

    Delighted

Soon you’ll become a fullyfledged Bulls supporter too, at this pace… hehehe

    Never!

I will have to become more disagreeable.

Maybe Hondo and Nama can give me some tips.
