    @ nortierd:
Morning Nortie…yes on paper going off results it would suggest that it is status quo for the Pumas…but I can see improvements in their game this year like a lot of others..

  • 332

    @ Te Rangatira:
    Hello TR
I fail to see it, 17/19 losses is just not good enough in anyone’s book TR.
They lost by 4 tries to 0 against you, and in the wet, and if you had even Stevie Wonder as your kicker it would have been by 35 odd points.
Not really good enough (better than Australia’s loss against you though)

  • 333

    331 @ Te Rangatira:
It could be TR that they get better, but maybe, so do their opponents, hence the same old same old?
That I could buy, and give them credit for “improving”

  • 334

    @ nortierd:
Yes..again the results aren’t good..but in mine eyes it is a psychological hump the Argies need to get over and I’m hoping they can turn their win/losses around…cos they do have the game to achieve this in my opinion

    Why Ellis Park?
we just played the ABs there last time?

Isn’t it supposed to be our fortress?

    @ nortierd:
    apparently altitude is their weakness.

    Pleasure

  • 338

    337 @ MacroBok:
Yes, that’s it. Altitude couple with the fact that they must travel all the way from Argentina to play us at altitude 😀

  • 339

    @ nortierd:
its quite weird that we still keep playing in the highveld when we are clearly not the team that benefits at all… yet we will keep hearing the same BS before every game about altitude.

  • 340

    @ MacroBok:
Yep, maybe in the past, but with the AB’s being much fitter than us lately they end the stronger of the 2 sides.
We could probably play them on Mars and it still won’t help

  • 341

    @ MacroBok:
Macro, do you still think that HM is on the right track with the kind of rugby we play?

  • 342

  • 343

    @ Nama:
Well even if Aus is not as good as we all thought they would be, we were still within 3 minutes of winning when you guys gave no hope, only to be dropped by steyn in the end.

I would like willie to get more involved especially when we got over the advantage line.

  • 344

    @ Nama:

  • 345

We will still be cimpetitive next week… winning the all blacks would be massive for this bok team, they just need to get over that barrier I think.

  • 346

We shouldn’t be disappointed, the coach thought we played well, sorry, make that very well

HM: “”We’re very disappointed with the defeat because we played very well. I thought we controlled the second half very well, playing against the wind, and the yellow card disrupted our plans on how we wanted to use the bench.”

  • 347

I just wish JDV would give up on going for touch when we should be building a lead. Im not convinced its orders from Meyer because he does the Anne thing for the Stormers… always pile up the points

  • 348

    344 @ nortierd:

  • 351

    @ MacroBok:
Sure. We’ll be competitive. We were last year and the year before as well but still lost by 14 and 10 points respectively. This year it might be even worse.

Wrt JdV not taking the kicks at poles, I agree. I know how it pisses me off when he does it when WP /Stormers play.

    @ Nama:

  • 353

    @ nortierd:

  • 354

    @ Nama:
Will still be tough to win next week, I still believe this all black team is incrwdible evem if their bench strength took a beating. .. But ill be seriously pissed off if we lose in Jhb.

  • 355

    @ Nama:

  • 356

    @ nortierd:
Waneer gaan Andries Bekker terug stormers toe? 😀

    Why be pissed off?
Every year it’s the same script, only difference was Aus last year when they were in a transition stage with McKenzie.
All the other results are the same so far as it was in 2012 and 2013

Spelers sal altyd foute maak.

    @ nortierd:
Its still better than 2010-2011 where we gave away 93 and 79 points (6 tries to an embattled robbie deans side) respecively on tour.

But it is ridiculous how similar every year has been, including arg being competitive at half time in NZ haha
