Slade slots a Saders penalty… and the Saders goes to a half ton.

    Crusaders 50 / 22 Reds

    @ kaksioek:
the sharks will have one game on tour where everything clicks.

  • 63

The Crusaders are like slow poison in a game… if the Sharks do not work up a healthy lead early on next weekend, the Saders will moer them.

They just have to, otherwise they are on a hiding to nothing.
We know we don’t like “forfeiting” games, but it might be in your best long term interest that Jake rests Frans, Alberts, Beast, Jannie, Bissie etc next week.
These guys are played into the ground, and will play the tests and back to SR.
Rather give them a break than have them break come play off time

then again jake could also accept defeat and rest all his big guns for the blues. he has done it before.

  • 66

    Try Reds, Rob Simmons

    snap

  • 68

    Crusaders 50 / 29 Reds

    @ MacroBull:
Well, let’s hope so. Let’s just say that you will get pretty attractive odds for the Sharks beating the Crusaders in Christchurch.

    Lol, yep, snap

Yes, wouldn’t be surprised if players get rested. Might even lead to a better performance (but not necessarily wins) in both games.

  • 72

I need a converted Reds try for Bru… hahaha

  • 73

    @ kaksioek:
its bad how things are turning out. at the start of the season I looked at the crusaders vs sharks game and thought to myself… finally, someone could finally do it from south africa.

  • 74

Saders penalty… in front but they go for touch

  • 75

    @ MacroBull:
We came within 1 point in Christchurch, and we are the cellar dwellers, lol.

  • 76

Try Johnny McNicholl, from an intercept off a sloppy Surfer Dude pass.

  • 77

    @ kaksioek:
thing is you just never know with jake. I would definately rested a player or two vs the rebels and lions. teams they should beat easily and now they are leaving the rotation for the end of the season. when I mentioned this earlier this year I got chastised by sharks supporters.

  • 78

    Crusaders 57 / 29 Reds

  • 79

I guess that’s my Bru farked as far as the margin is concerned, hahaha

  • 80

    @ nortierd:
haha yes but comparing this saders team to that team you guys played is apples and oranges… next week carter and keiran read are back.

  • 81

    @ MacroBull:
Yep, doesn’t look likely any more 😉

  • 83

    Final Score: Crusaders 57 / 29 Reds

  • 84

    @ MacroBull:
The problem they have is that his big guns will all play tests, so no break during the international window.
Where the Sharks forwards were dominating all opposition earlier and basically won them most of their games, more teams are getting parity with them now.
Once the forwards are matched, most team’s backlines are better than the current Shark backline, more innovative and exciting.
The Sharks must dominate up front and grind penalties to be successful, and it’s getting more difficult as the players are getting more tired

What are you guys planning for Mothers Day?

Here it is a quiet one, the Skoondier Mother had her 70th birthday bash here yesterday… so that was enough attention… hehehe

    Wink
The way Slade is playing and kicking, I wouldn’t change him now

    @ nortierd:
beast jannie and bismarck have played all season. no south african team has played their front row all season lol and with alberts at lock they have abiut 4/5 springbok starters in the tight five that will play about every game this year till injury… its shocking, borderline abuse.

  • 88

    8.5 on Bru
My Stormers dropped me and cost me a GSP
Could have been a good weekend, except for those €£¥+%#} Bulls

In about 9 days Rugby-Talk will go over the magical 10 Million Page Impression mark (from the date I started monitoring Page Impressions).

    @ nortierd:
who was the kicker vs the stormers? gosh if the crusaders started with a proper kicker this year they could be top of the log… didnt they throw like two or three games?
