Vodacom BullsAnother new innovation from the Bulls, South Africa’s most successful Super Rugby franchise!

InvisBull becomes visible as PUMA launches the new Vodacom Bulls Super Rugby kit for 2104. Playing on the fact that Camo is designed to make you invisible, PUMA has launched a Camo Home shirt which stays true to the traditional Bulls’ blue, while the Away shirt is khaki green and brown.

Bulls new Kit

In the lead up to the reveal, PUMA ran a teaser Youtube video

As part of a campaign entitled “The Nature of the Bulls: You never see them coming”.

With camouflage being a major seasonal fashion trend across the globe, the fanwear has a cool, fun appeal – the shirts retail for R649 and can be snapped up as ideal festive season gift in either or both colourways.

Blue Bulls Company CEO, Barend van Graan, says: “PUMA have certainly transformed the pace since their arrival at the Bulls and the team feels that new Away khaki green and brown jersey, a complete contrast from our old-style kit, is a bold statement towards distinctiveness.”

Brett Bellinger, Marketing Director of PUMA South Africa, says both the Home and Away kits have been launched in advance of the December period to give Bulls fans a chance to get their hands on a jersey before their first match in February 2014.

“We wish Frans, Pierre and the rest of the Vodacom Bulls team and management all the best in the coming season; we hope that the players and fans are inspired by the kit and that it brings with it a good dose of PUMA luck,” says Bellinger.

Etzebeth, 22, was injured playing for the Springboks against France in Paris last Saturday.

He confirmed his lengthy stint on the sidelines via his official Twitter account on Thursday.

Strange, strange weather we’ve been having!

About 2 weeks ago, BIGGGGGGGG hail fell here by us, knocking all sorts of dents in my office roof, as a result of which I have 3 new water leaks in my roof… and it’s has rained almost every day since, so the roof has not dried sufficiently for me to treat it.

At the same time both Handbriekie’s car and BonzaiHandbriekie’s VW Bus was outside while it hailed… both with some damage but luckily not major damage.

Round about the same time a client of mine in Boksburg’s brand new 3 Series BMW (18km on the clock) was pelted by MASSIVE HAIL stones and it also broke 178 tiles on his roof. BMW looks like a golf ball, it has so many big dimples.

Today, Handbriekie’s partner, Leoni’s brand spanking new Toyota (less than 2000km) PLUS her husband, Attie’s almost brand new Bakkie (3000 km) were stuck on the road behind one another (they live in Roodepoort area) when TENNIS BALL SIZED hail hit them… they had nowhere to go and both vehicles are solidly farked, moertoe!

This weather is not funny anymore…

‘Buffalo soldier’sure to be hit in Hatfield and surrounds come 2014.

  • 73

    @ grootblousmile: even n babelaas!!

  • 75

Will we see even less of Spies at ruck & maul time now that he will be dressed in cammo?

  • 76

Will HM still see Spies’s massive forearms and powerful thighs while he is in cammo?
Will he see him falling off tackles?

  • 77

    75 & 76 @ Loosehead:
Will the Spies jokes EVER become funny?

  • 78

    gbs @ 77
pierre spies jokes are ALWAYS funny, lol

  • 79

    78 @ Ashley:
    O, OK.. werklik?

My stand punt is as volg.

  • 81

nee, dis baie snaakser, don’t be hating now

  • 82

    81 @ Gena_ZA:

…. Shame man, dis effe pateties….

  • 83

    @ grootblousmile: en effe faktap..

  • 84

Innovation is the name of the game ladies and gents. The fact that the Bulls have pushed the boundaries of what is considered traditional just shows that we are hardly the eg Afrikaanse stiff upper besnorde lip, brannewyn drinking boepens squad we are always made out to be.
Bulls in pink, Bulls in camo, who gives a shit!! Keeping up with the times and the suurgatte haul out Chirps 101. Pathetic. I say good on you BBRU.

  • 85

Ek dink anyways daai hemp gaan moerse lekker jag. Can’t wait for Hunting season 2014!!

  • 86

    83, 84 & 85 @ KWAGGA ROBERTSE:
    Hello tjom,

    @ grootblousmile:
It was bad. Both my office and home seemed to have missed the worst of the hail this side. Where did were your friend driving yesterday?
BTW the blue kit ain’t so bad, still not sure about the green camo.
Brace yourself for a lot abuse if your team does not perform next year. I have been on the receiving end for many years, even in the good Lions years.

  • 88

    87 @ Lion4ever:
I’m not sure exactly where the Tennis Ball hail caught our 2 friends on the road… just know they live in Florida North…

Anyway, what does one do when hail hits you while you are in your car on the road… there’s nothing really one can do.

Not worried for abuse of my team in Super Rugby, not at all… because the wheel turns and it will be their turn again soon enough thereafter.

I think the Bulls are going to have a difficult year in 2014, considering who all left for overseas…but then again I said the same prior to the 2013 season and the Bulls easily took the SA Conference and ended 2nd on the overall Log.

Hope the MTN Lions do well, they deserve a bit of a good comeback after a year in the Wilderness!

    @ KWAGGA ROBERTSE:
Kom nou ouens.

    @ grootblousmile:
Ja, the lady that works for us had to fetch her hubby at Lanseria last night, and the rain had already started when she left, an they suffered some hail damage on the car. His plane had to be diverted back to Durban. And when they got home their roof was damaged and they then had a whole host of water damage inside. Needles to say she had to take the day off.

I am worried about your boys this season. Too many players have left at once, and not too much experience left. At least the Lions will be an unknown quantity and may catch a few teams by surprise.
