Ja I missed it too. Ah well. Sh1t happens.

Hope it rains for a month in Deben and the cup is shared.

Wasn’t too impressed by any of the referees today.

Lawrence especially had a shyte game IMO.

I think on the balance the WP just shaded it and deserved the win.

Lions defended like Trojans for periods.

TRY! Vermeulen scores from a driving maul after Taute’s kick was deemed straight out.

this comment was made on Planet Rugby, so at least by saying was deemed straight out, my suspicion is supported

    @ Scrumdown:
Thnx … I am glad they ‘ did not steal it’ then … I respect the Lions team and really enjoyed their style of rugby … they have been my second choice team for at least two seasons now (it used to be the Cheetahs) … 🙂

So now the Lions have a season (or longer) in the Rugby wilderness.

I think the game last night showed just how hard it will be for the Kings in Super Rugby.

For me, maybe I’ll be able to sort my golf game out in the next year. It seems like a lifetime of commiting to Rugby on a Saturday. First for the club, and in recent years just here on RT.

For the Lions, well they have an announcement on the way forward at a breakfast at Coca-Cola Park on Wednesday.

There have been many rumours about games agaonst Heineken Cup teams, the USA, Canada, Samoa and a fijian invitation side.

Whatever happens, whether it’ll be enough to get bums on seats in JHB in 2013 remains to be seen.

I for one won’t be supporting any of the teams in SR, and will continue to boycott supporting any SARU representative side in protest at their shabby handling of this whole sordid affair.

SARU are truly poor in the execution of their duties in respect of Rugby.

Good luck to the Sharks and WP in the final next week. Personally I don’t give a tinker’s cuss who wins it.

    G’night all.

GO LIONS in the T20 Champions League.

  • 117

    @ Scrumdown:
I agree with you … except for the last sentence … 🙂
But I understand why you feel that way … disse boggerop!

  • 118

The two teams that play the closest game to the All Blacks could have served SA,s rugby cause the best. So we will see defense , defense , defense VS attacking innovative play. Heynecke go and watch with a open mind and maybe you can learn something.

GO Titans, hahaha. I better put up threads for us up North, at least the Cricket powers are up here.

Going to be hard for the Lions.

In a way there’re like the Lions Rugby side with no REAL stars. Can’t see them winning the whole thing, but wouldn’t mind too much if the Titans took it either.

So glad at least 3 IPL teams are out!
