I was in the Ballast Nedam Village when I worked over there. Not sure if it is still there, but it was a nice ‘Compound’ as it was called there. We had our own little pub next to the swimming pool. Only opened ever 2nd week as it took that amount of time to make the beer and it was finished on Thursday night. As you know Friday is the day off there.
All of our back rooms in our houses was a little brewery then…..hahaha. As you opened my door or if you visited anyone one in the compound at their house the first thing you smelled was the brewery in the back…………………hahahahahaha. Damn we had some good times there, but it was tough as well with the heat and the long, long hours we had to work.
