Go Rebels!! … but my Bru says Waratahs by 17

  • 2

    With this one i agree
Did you see my question on the prev thread?

  • 5

    2@ superBul:
Which question.. repeat it here please

  • 6

    super @ 2
saw your question, but not sure what effect it will have on the log … think stormers (even if they get beaten by the bulls) still need to play most of the nz sides, which if they win those, will take some of those nz sides out of the picture. think we will like always, still have quite a few things that can happen, come the last week of the normal games!
but, at this stage, its way too difficult to even start predicting, cause to much can still happen!!

  • 7

Waratahs hard on attack, 3m out…. Rebels turn the ball over

  • 8

    @ Ashley:
agree way to early, but at this stage all 5 NZ teams sit with a chance, if the Huricannes lost they would have been goners.

    TMO

    Polota-Nau Try??

    @ superBul:
Having saffa teams in positions 1,4 and 5 on the log was the best hypothetical situation saffas could have hoped for. So first prize remains to have a saffa team at 1. Now the best Bulls can hope for is number 5 so they then play the saffa team in SA and then if they win that then the semi also in SA. If the Bulls beat the other contending saffa teams from now on, they only ensure that the Australasian teams have an easier ride. My priority is for a Saffa team to win the Super15, not for the Bulls to improve their log position and thereby damaging the chances of a saffa win. This has been a big flaw of the saffa teams in the past – play kuk against the overseas teams and then play your heart out against the local boys and do the overseas teams a favour. NO MAN, I am a saffa first NOT a bloody kiwi or ozzie.

Penalty opportunity… Rebels… Huxley slots it

    Waratahs 7 / 3

  • 14

    super @ 8
they (the nz teams also still need to play each other)
Friday 6 May Hurricanes v Blues
Saturday 7 May Chiefs v Highlanders
Friday 13 May Highlanders v Hurricanes
    etc etc etc
    ..
so like i said, too much can still happen

    @ The_Young_Turk:
yeah i hear you. My team (Bulls) are still alive, but only if we win all our games. So lets see how we play with our backs firmly against the wall.

  • 16

    Another Rebels penalty…

  • 19

Flok, haat julle dit ook as mense julle rugby versteur met kak requests…. gaan kry gou vir my die matras en base uit die garage…. doen dit, doen dat…

    gbs @ 19
dja die baas van die huis jou alweer rond? 😀

    @ superBul:
Yip, I understand that, but look at the big picture. The Bulls really needed to win that game against the Farce. That’s why I was so disappointed. That was their last decent bite at the cherry. After that kuk performance they need to work on the real problems in their team and not hope for the other saffa teams to also implode. Don’t drag everyone into the gutter with you. At least lets have some saffa teams playing well because you have to bear in mind that this is the world cup year. There is no bigger prize than that. If the Boks retain the cup this would set so many records – first to retain, first to 3 wins, only team to win in NZ. We need our players to be playing well for that. If the Bulls boks are not up for it any more, now’s the chance to see the other players to take their place.

    @ grootblousmile:
You’re not trying to say that rugby is more important to you than your dear wife, that this stupid game is more interesting than your better half’s conversation, that teams of guys chasing a silly ball is more captivating than your missus, are you???

  • 25

    @ The_Young_Turk:
sorry mate do you suggest us dropping games. NO BLOODY WAY. Over my dead body. We have pride to play for. Look at the Australian games against each other , there is NO game throwing like we expected. The Lions is a disgrace here in SA they are the cows being milked.

  • 27

    @ superBul:
and may i add if the Bulls lose today they will be a bigger disgrace.

  • 28

    24@ The_Young_Turk:
Uhm… uhm…. have to think hard on this one..

I would NEVER say that, out loud !!

Let me put it diplomatically….. it’s about priorities….. hahahaha

  • 29

    @ superBul:
Not at all, no teams drop games mate. There is too much pride and competitive spirit. I am talking as a supporter not a player as are we all here. We only have hopes and dreams for our teams, we can’t influence the game directly on the field.

    @ grootblousmile:
Don’t worry mate, your secret’s safe with me 🙂
