The Springboks hosted the All Blacks in their last Tri-Nations match against one another of 2010 at FNB Stadium, Johannesburg at 17:05 SA Time. This was the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was bradcast live on SuperSport 1, SuperSport HD and M-Net.
The All Blacks won, scoring 2 quick tries in the last 3 minutes, to break the Bokke hearts and those of their supporters.
It must be said though that the Springboks showed moments of brilliance during the game though, with the Hougaard experiment working well and Juan Smith and Flip van der Merwe doing their part brilliantly too.
Jean de Vlliers shone at inside centre and Morne Steyn’s boot was as effective as ever.
… but well done Blacks, you came, you saw, you absorbed a shipload of pressure … and you won!

Juan, FH en Flip moes opgebly het. Afrigters moet pa staan vir hierdie verloor. Die twee verlore in NZ was erg, maar hierdie verloor het die bokke geknak. Ons moes ook ‘n drie gekry het daar in die begin van die 2de helfte, maar die ref en MacCaw het ander planne gehad.

John Smit lyk sleg sy hart is uitgeruk, in daardie laaste move to die bal afgestaan is kyk bietjie in slow mow, het die ref se arm nie amper uitgeskiet nie , of sien ek al WEER spoke
@superbul ek het nie woorde vir die dom bliksem nie…… Pdv Hougaard was man of the match vir my….. Vergeet die forward pass x2 Pdv het die self destruct knoppie gedruk om sy cappies test caps te gee… Louw and januarie(both lost it for us in nz) last 5 min we lost it bcause of them and pdv and his cappies!!!!!!!! I am gutted we played a gr8 game for 80 min

Weet nie hoe staan jy van hierdie een op nie. Jy kan nie net sê “ons vat die positiewes en gaan verder” nie. Spelers kan ALMAL bly, hulle het hul harte uitgespeel. Maar regtig, ons soek ‘n ander afrigtingspan.
Sien Keo se server raak baie stadig as daar net n paar Nageboortes blog.
RT is darm baie beter en so ook die bloggers.

Daar moet net van Muir ontslae geraak word. Waar is ons flair. Ons was eenvoudig gutsy en die beste inklimmers was afgehaal, voortydig.

Where to now, Obviously pump the wallas next week but another loss to the AB’s is too much to bear.
Sport is cruel and rugby the cruellest, I thought generally we did ok in most areas, scrum good, line out good, AB’s looked rattled, Carter not as good as Steyn, Steyn good for 72 minutes and then awful kick, Smit good but 2 missed tackles and the rest is history.
Gutted is all I can say, never felt worse.

Mense, kom ons wees eerlik, ons huidige afrigtingspan het nie die rugby brein krag om die bestes aan te vat nie. Die feit dat ons kompeterend is, is oor ons goeie spelers het, nie die afrigters nie.
Kyk na die wedstryd: as AB’s bal het, dan sukkel ons om dit af te vat. Ons, daarenteen, wil nie met die bal speel, wat beteken ons ouens het nie confidence met bal in hand nie. Daarom juis daardie laaste turnover wat in die drie ge-eindig het.
Nuwe afrigtingspan, anders gaan ons nie die wereldkampioene wees wat ons eintlik is nie. Feite.

Our substitions were are complete waste of time. Also have to say our coaches have no idea at all.
Please Saru it is not the senior player’s losing the plot rather the absolute rubbish we getting from totally useless coaches. Please Bok rubgy is not 3rd world get to gribs we need the best. WE have em. Don’t tell me we don’t. Also substitues have cost us so huge. WHY SUBSTITUE when we really need not too????????? Really why the heck substitute a player when you don’t really have too????????????????? Why the bloody heck bring on Ricky????????????????????? for me Hougaard was probably mom he was impense. Also why the bloody hell bring on Louw?????????????????????????? USELESS!!!!!!!! Juan Smith was awesome. I think subs cost us once again. PLEASE get rid of the useless backline coach. Dick is just useless. Once our replacements came on we were a different team. I know this is how Dick worked with the Sharks. Please saru get rid of this useless backline coach. Also why the heck replace Flip?????????? Maybe I never got much as the club was very loud but bugger why change what is working? Hougaard should have stayed until the end. Please Ricky this is the end of the road for a player. Go play your last days overseas not for the Boks.
