Shame Manly, think that is the worst of being overseas…..think I would die

  • 64

    62@ Manly – I’ll E-mail you some…. hehehehe

… or at least a pic of me eating some….. hahahahaha

  • 65

It’s not so bad Tripples, there are many Saffas here and many Saffa shops and you forget about the lekker stuff until you go in the shop, I saw Romany Creams there the other day, so I smashed the whole box and felt ill til the next day, no more Romany Creams for me………….maybe Choc Krust next time.

Do they still make Wilsons toffees?

  • 66

Yep, Wilson toffees still around although they are about half the original size they were……I love wilson toffees

  • 67

    65@ Manly – Yip, all flavours… Coke a Cola, original, Buttermilk… ect

  • 68

56 – Howzit ManlyBok, So that Steak House is still there. Was great steaks there the last time I was in Manly. Thought the owners would make plenty money there.

Must have been good to catch up with our Bok captain.

hehehehe, you right it is the fat that give the biltong or boerewors the flavour here. When I lived in Holland they too were just too stict on hygiene.. a good thing but like you say the grid from the pan is the best flavour. In Holland they would cut off all the fat from the meat, ALL OF IT!! no flavour left after that.

Manly Bok Choc Krust better than Romany Creams
