Springbok rugby supporters can get some insight on what happens with the Boks behind the scenes in a new exclusive documentary.
The documentary is called The Hunt for glory and will be shown on Supersport 1, Thursday October 8, from 19:00 until 20:30 (SA time).
The SuperSport cameras were given unprecedented access to capture the behind-the-scenes drama of a series win against the British & Irish Lions will recall as one of the Springboks’ greatest achievements.
This should be interesting as the BIL series had a lot of drama involving yellow cards, eye gouging, last-minute winning penalties etc.
What to expect:
– What does Peter De Villiers and John Smit say in the dressing room to motivate the players
– How the Boks prepared for the Lions series
– Fun the team had away from the field
– Bakkies Botha reveals the truth behind the chirps with Lions scrumhalf Mike Phillips
– Morné Steyn recalls his Test debut in Durban and his series-clinching penalty in Pretoria
– Victor Matfield, Beast Mtawarira, Fourie du Preez, Bryan Habana and the rest of the squad tell the real story behind the series win.

Saturday: SuperSport 1/M-Net – 13:15 and SuperSport 1 – 22:05
Sunday: SuperSport 1 – 19:30
