It has been rumoured that the Lions and Province are in talks with Lote Tuqiri.
After Tuqiri lost his contract with the Australian Rugby union, he has been linked to French Club Toulon.
“I’m talking to French club Toulon and may even be playing against the boys next year in South Africa in the Super 14”
It seems that the Lions and Province can’t stop bumping heads. These two unions are also currently in a dispute over the services of Springbok centre Jaque Fourie.

@isigidi – Ek het in 99 vir Mbaai se dorpspan gespeel en 2000 vir Barbarians. Ek dink Hein Rehr het in 2000 Mbaai kom help om in die eerste liga terug te kom. Dink hy het toe al n paar jaar nie meer gespeel nie. Was hy agtsteman?

I think Tuqiri is a seriously good player but doubt if he will be moveing to the Cape as Province have most proberly blown there budget buying Habana and Fourie and then there is the legal costs of the Fourie saga. 🙁
