The 5 New Zealand Super 14 squads have been announced.

The Crusaders have Dan Carter and Chris Jack back. They have also received the services of young All Black wing Zac Guildford who made his international debut on Saturday against Wales.

Neil Sorensen, general manager of professional rugby for the New Zealand Rugby Union, said the selection process was difficult because of the amount of talent available.

“The abundance of quality talent has made this a very challenging process,” he said.

“However, it is great that the franchises have worked solidly through this process in a deliberate and professional manner. It is always tough to leave out quality players but the reality is there are just so many good players out there.

“We are delighted with the even spread of this talent across the regions and anticipate strong performances in 2010 for all five squads.”

55 GBS – I find it staggering that the Boks have not beaten France since 1997?

I mean, the FRENCH !! “Cheese eating surrender monkeys”??? 😆

Check France vs NZ 2009, Dunedin, on YouTube.
Don’t wet yourself just yet (!), but we are playing virually the same monster team that smashed the AB’s in NZ a few months ago, except for that youngster Yana David (center) en Chabal (benched).

Morne better be on song with his kicking, or else we are in for a long, wet and chilly night in Toulouse…..

    KOM BOKKE

    #65 Pietman,

Victories are won in the heart and head long before the ref blows his little pea-shooter.

    65 – Piet,

Think our Bok team is better than the ABs well the Bok team that beat ABs 3 times this year. We do have 4 missing in JdV, Spies, Juan and Fransie.

With out those monster kicks from Fransie we may have lost that game in NZ this year. So just hoping the replacements are up for it.

    67 – Fender

Yip, if the team is confident which I think they will be, then their head is in the right place and I think their hearts are too after beating everyone this year.

    Go for it Bokke.
