@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:176 – OldG, I think the Wallabies are the danger team for next year. If any team team underestimates them, they are foolish. Wallabies are getting it right and by next year they will be better.
All Blacks are going to be very, very tough to beat in NZ. Wallabies draw is a good one. Boks have to play ABs in the semi. One of us will be out after that. Pity.

The answer to your very appropriate question is a resounding: YES. Winning results is one thing, but the Aus rugby public know that when you take out over half a team with injuries and replace them with club level players, i.e. Ben McCalman et al, and finally come up with an attack that rewrites the coaching manuals; when you show courage as the underdog and perform to your best, THEN the Aus stakeholders will jump onboard for the ride. Deans is clearly our best coach and he will/must be given carte blanche with our national side.

@ nga puhi:182 – Nga, Yip it is those margins that cost me. Not just here but in the CC too. I mostly play it safe…hahaha. Also with the crici coming up have played it safe. But with the Boks and Sharks normally go with the heart and it costs me. I am no good at this prediction thing……LOL.

Next year’s draw does favour the wallas. Who knows what the make up of both the boks and the ABs will be in 12 months. I don’t think Deans will be cutting his wrists just yet. Wallas are playing an exciting brand of rugby and I want to see more of it!!!!

@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:Wish we had Deans for our coach. Or J. Mitchell. What would those two coaches do with the talent we have here? I can’t even begin to think. They are world class coaches. How we have our coach is crazy. But that is SA for you. We have huge depth here in SA just been wasted by not having a world class coach.
Australia done well in getting Deans and sticking with him.
