Good luck with your team today Cane…..I hope you managed to snag some tickets and will be at the ground cheering your boys on

  • 2

    Cane,

    Just do it.

    Who-s-the-man

  • 3

watch and learn Saffas, watch and learn!

Kia ora Cane, good luck to your boys, hoping they do it for Jerry, C Smith and Nonu, all 3 deserve it.

definitely the two best sides though would not begrudge the landers either

hoe gaan dit Saffas? good luck in the WC… I fear NZ will have another Barnes-esque story to tell

    ka kite ano

Hiya Pops, how’re you doing mate, long time no hear!

    And how’s the arm?

Yeah, if there’s one team that really deserves it it’s Cane’s boys & I sure hope they do it!

I reckon right now Cane’s too nervous to type!!!

    Overjoy

    @ nga puhi:
    Kia Ora Pops

I think your Blues will also be watching and learning 😆

The two best and most deserving teams in the final by a mile.

What are your thoughts on Tana taking over the coaching at the Blues?

    @ BrumbiesBoy:

kia ora BB, all good here bro, and you? Arms fine, still allows me to do things in the quieter moments haha Happy-Grin

I feel for cane, their motto of “this is our year” may finally come true, I do fear for his health though. severe shock to the system can be quite dangerous

    @ nortie:
and kia ora Naughty, I reckon my blues are wishing they went down with the wakas during pre season training

Tana has done well with Counties, and he may be able to bridge the PI aspect of coaching the blues

in other words, its an improvement, still wish they went for Crowley though Wink

    @ nga puhi:
WC could get interesting…..seems like we are on a collision course in the semis.

Will first have to wait and see which men are still standing at that stage….injuries not looking good for the Bokke at the moment

  • 8

    @ nga puhi:
No problems thanks, except I’m just slightly peed at not going past the semis AGAIN…but that’s life I suppose!

    Weary

  • 9

    and Naughty,

keep watching for Akira Ioane, superstar in the making.. just hope the new Blues coach recgnises as such, rather than the old one and his “expertise” in getting rid of Malakai

  • 10

    @ nortie:

shame cause we should only ever meet in the final, but be happy for us when we lift it again please 😀

@ BrumbiesBoy: at your age boet just be pleased you can still get a semi

    Who-s-the-man

    Always 😆

    @ nortie:

self portrait the avatar boet? injuries are what worries me today, dont want to see any with such an important international season starting..

super rufby is no reflection of test form, and theres a reason youre the ol enemy

  • 13

anyways, off to get a few quiet ales in before kickoff

    e noho ra

  • 14

    @ nga puhi:
    See ya later!

  • 15

    @ nga puhi:
You need a fit Aaron Smith….Injury to Cruden is a pity, you have great stock at 10 even without him, but Barrett is still carrying a niggle and Carter may or may not regain his old form before or during the WC….no Stephen Donald to be brought from the fishing waters this year 😆

This article caught my attention; at least you’ll be “protected from harmful comments”, etc post RWC 2015…

Should be a good match, and hopefully a fitting final. Good luck to both teams.

  • 18

Conrad Smith been a humble rock in the midfield for a decade. One of my favourite players, and going to be missed next year – I have a feeling I’ll be renewing my Sky contract and watching a bit more French rugby!

  • 19

Conrad Smith – 85 tests for the All Blacks, 25 test tries – won 90% of the tests he has played. Unsung hero.

  • 20

    Game ON!

    Kick-Off by the Landers!

  • 21

Highlanders enjoying moving the ball around a bit. Good stuff

  • 22

Landers penalty, Sopoaga for goal… crowd boooes!

  • 23

Fitzpatrick said before the game that the Canes would have to tackle like demons in this match. Certainly being proved right so far.

  • 24

    Highlanders 3 / 0 Hurricanes

  • 25

Canes penalty and Barrett will go for goal

  • 26

Nuwe kampioen word gekroon, wie gaan dit wees.

Canes die gunstelinge, Landers die gevaarlike underdogs.

  • 28

Canes penalty, Landers off their feet at the breakdown

  • 29

Quick ball. So simple, and you don’t need brains to do it. Perfect for SA rugby – we just need to stop trying to be clever.

  • 30

Canes over the line but held up!

Canes get a 5m penalty though, for offside by Aaron Smith
