Proteas working hard at losing their first game. 10 for 1 and currently going at 2 runs per over.

Well done Miller and JP, saved our innings from a potential embarrassment

  • 315

    464646 Miller, what an over

  • 316

Well deserved 100 for JP as well

  • 317

Cometh the hour, cometh the MEN …

  • 318

Good job by miller and the Minnow trasher

  • 319

Miller was outstanding. We now have to defend. Pitch is drier than when we started. Small field. Our fast boulers might get lifted over the boundaries with ease.

Well done to my team…STORMERRRRS. Beating the old enemy on their home turf.

A lekker game to watch as a Stormers fan. Only 3 Boks in the team compared to the 13 in the Bulls team and the Stormers team moered them real good.

Well done AC. You are doing a wonderful job of bringing through young players in the Cape and making them perform on the big stage. People will most probably give Gert Smal the credit for this win also but hey…

Overrated Bulls Bok players like JJE, Janneman, Vic and Hougie have been shown up yet again but our esteemed Bok coach will probably not see what most of us see.

    Hahaha…

    @ Nama:

Great game. Great atmosphere. Great supporters – Stormers that is. The Bulls didn’t pitch. And neither did their supporters.

Although, Damian got MOM, there were others in the Stormers that could have got it. Massive performances were put in by all the players.

Was there with a couple of keolings – when the oos paviljoen stating chanting “WP djou lekka ding” that just did it for me. Effectively, it was a home game for the Stormers. Nice.

Next Sunday will be a huge game. Versus India.

Yes, it was a great performance by our young guns. The way they dealt with the Bulls scrum (with a full Bok front row and a legendary Bok lock in the midst) was an eye opener. Ruan Botha is becoming an yster. Outplayed Matfield yet again.

Yes, that’s the game where we need to lay down a marker. India’s recent poor performances in Aus count for nothing. We’ll have to be at our best.

If we can’t manage to beat India under those conditions then I reckon we will be seeing our players wearing some snazzy Matrix looking leather coats.

Such a strange weekend of SR. Only one home win out of seven and all the top contenders were playing at home. Making picks for superbru will be a nightmare if this trend continues. Amazed

    @ Nama:

Ruan Botha is putting in some big games. Him and Kleyn have a good lock partnership going. With Eben back in a couple of weeks, things will look even better.

As for the cricket – there are plenty of 300+ scores being posted. India will be a massive test – they have a strong batting line-up. Their bowlers are a bit iffy.

    @ nortie:
    Hahaha…

They do have a few classy players in their team. Dhawan, Kohli and Dhoni are among the best ODI players you can get.

I see that Donald is again using the short ball tactic in Aus. We got moered silly the last time we played in Aus using that tactic. Zim also looked good for an upset at one stage while batting because we were bowling short. We need to get our bowling tactics right if we want to go all the way.

    @ Nama:

Loftus is home ground advantage to the Stormers.

That was my thinking in picking them on bru 🙄

Yes, I agree with you 100%.
