Interesting win by the cheetahs yesterday. Surprising to be honest.

Glad nie, klaar uit enige contention uit.
Lekker game gewees om te kyk

  • 63

Chiefs looking good. Play with a lot of passion and well coached.

    @ McLook:
The Blues were their own worst enemy, the cheetahs missed a few chances to score tries, but the Blues missed a few very easy tries, Luke Braid had a shocker, doubt he will start more games this season.

    61 @ McLook:
Blues had their chances, Braid was shocking on the day.
They were on the wrong end of some very contentious calls in the final quarter though

Almal soek die games waar spanne 400 lopies slaan.
Vanoggend se lae telling wedstryd het vir drama gesorg wat lanklaas gesien was

I am quite impressed with the NZ and Aussie bowlers. Is what was missing in the Proteas during first two games. Was better against Wes India; still not same level as Aus and NZ.

  • 74

Crusaders with an attacking lineout, thrown in front and hack to Funnell, the hooker… he steps out

  • 75

    72 @ McLook:
    Agree.
We rely solely on our batsmen, in particular Amla and AB, to win us matches. We can’t rely on our bowlers, and if we only have a moderate total to defend we will lose.
The NZ and Aus teams are better balanced.
I’m curious to see what the NZ approach will be when they must bat first and set a total. They have perfected the art of restricting/bowling out the opposition for small totals and chasing it down in no time thanks to McCullem at opening bat.
If they are going to bat first with that cavalier approach they may be caught out

Thanks. I didn’t see the game. Blues camp will be gutted. Sorry to hear there was yet again doubtful referee calls.

NZ lack real batting depth and that might cost them when they bat first. You are quite correct they have good bowling balance but rely to much on McCallum.

    @ nortie:
Also we will struggle chasing. Key to success will be batting first in the world cup… Not garanteed success though

  • 83

    Penalty Chiefs, Cruden slots it.

    Chiefs 25 / 16 Crusaders

    Ha ha, dit ook 😆

  • 85

Saders has some stern words halftime. They are lifting the intensity.

  • 86

Bliksem. Is hosea gear ook by die chiefs. Dit is n flippen mean soan daai. En dan moet die beste speler in die wereld ook nog terugkom.

  • 88

Goodness that was a mess on the goal line.

  • 89

    82 @ MacroBull:
One would think, but a team like NZ prefer bowling first.
But the toss in cricket still p,Aus a huge part in helping to determine the outcome, still, the team must come to the party.
NZ and Aus, especially Starc are bowling brilliantly.
We, if we were to be honest, would have to admit that Tahir is probably our best and most dangerous bowler currently

Looks short… and knocked by Lowe
