    Come on Pumas… do it!

  • 122

    Solid first scrum by Oz

  • 123

    @ nortierd:
It is a poor record, but they are not lmiting themselves by playing weak teams like Romania, or the PI teams… I just dont believe they sohuld be compared to those teams 🙂

Not going to argue now, but they can clearly be competitive, even against Aus and the AB’s.

  • 124

WOWSER huge call by the ref, that scrum was well on the way to the tryline.

  • 125

Massive pressure in that scrum… all the backs perfectly straight

  • 126

fugg, these argies scrummed the Bokke to smithereens, but they can’t do it vs. Ozz?

    Strange, ne?

  • 127

Wallas get a Free Kick… and win the game

  • 128

    @ MacroBok:
They are competitive, I really think that because they don’t target wins in June, they don’t believe they can win matches, when they get close, they can’t get over the line against even better opposition.
Rather build a winning culture than a losing and competitive culture is what I say

    @ Angostura:
    Brawn v brains
Against us it was brawn v brawn

    Final Score: Australian Wallabies (14) 32 / 25 (7) Argentinian Pumas

    @ nortierd:
Yep a winning culture is important

  • 132

In truth, the Argentina is a ringer (for a #12 ranking)
    but
some won’t know a ringer even if it stares them in the face …

    **

An enjoyable game, just as the Test in Wellington – both fierce contests

Even if just for the belief.
Their one center has played something like 19 tests, without ever being on the winning side even once.
Now if he wasn’t holidaying in America in June and beating an Ireland 2nd stringer team and Scottish second team, he could have some wins under his belt.
Anyway, that’s what they think is the right way to go about it, lose everything, but be competitive in the RC, maybe far in the future it works for them, but these last 3 years it hasn’t.

Handbriekie brought me some Jalepino Poppers and Home Made Ginger Beer to go with my 2007 Allesverloren Port… great stuff!

    Is’nt life just wonderful!

  • 135

Nouja, nou wag ons vir die finaal….WP se kuk is in die pos vandag daar by die Egoli!
Scrumdown, waar is jy swaer, jy moet kyk…

    @ grootblousmile:
@134 she forgot to bring your mix, condensed milk…

  • 137

Pity about that last Wallaby penalty, picked them by 5, would have preferred a 4 point win

Waar’s jou sooibrand boereraat – jy gaan dit benodig

  • 139

    @ nortierd:
but if you underestimate them they will put you on your arse. Teams like Japan, Fiji and Scotland should never be able to do that.

Like we have talked about ad naseum, they are in a much different to basically any country in the world without any domestic league, difficult to judge them to the same standards.

No Nortie, not going on this vicious cycle tour again.

  • 140

    136 @ Pietman:
    Hehehe

She leaves me to buy my own Condensed Milk!

  • 141

    138 @ Angostura:
Ek het nog NOOIT in my lewe sooibrand gehad nie… seriaaaas!

  • 142

    @ nortierd:
What are you and Nortier on about, winning culture? Forget about other people…mind our own teams.
Look at the Kings, they have won fukkol yet and they are on their way to SR 2015, howzat for nurturing a winning culture!

  • 143

    @ MacroBok:
    He he, ek ook nie.
Hulle bring geen surprise na die tafel nie, en is maklik om te pick, buiten toe ons in die reen so gesukkel het, verder is alles nes die vorige jare, so lekker vir SuperBru picks as hulle speel

  • 144

    @ Pietman:
Kings don’t have to win, or even be competitive, they have secret weapons.

  • 145

    @ nortierd:

A Classic Boks / AB Test.

Not flashy, but full of substance.

Both Teams have areas to work on.

    Worried………………………………….who me?
    😉

    @ cane:
I like Hansens comment “the team showed character, but lacked in execution”

Usually our coaches just stop after the word character

  • 148

    @ grootblousmile:

So jy is nie ‘n suurgat nie, net vol kaLk?

Terloops, daai L is nie ‘n drukkersduiweltjie nie 😀
