Stormers lineout works again, with Coetzee throwing in….

  • 212

    Reds on their last legs!

  • 213

Little Juan de Jongh knock… time is running out fast

  • 214

Eish, should the Cat have kicked that?????

  • 215

    Seconds left… Reds scrum

  • 216

De Jong: 6 balls 5 Knocks
What a tally for the ‘Springbok’
    😉

  • 217

That was our chance gone a begging

  • 218

Now that was a game we should have won. I am now very pissed off. USELESS.

Final Score: Reds 22 / 17 DHL Stormers

    1 Bru margin spot on!

  • 220

A game the Stormers easily could have won, but they showed no desire to do so until the reserves came on. AC and Co MUST go.

  • 221

Stormers almost got that one. Good. Positive signs with all that’s going on behind the scenes.
Hopefully they can close out the tight games in their favor at home

  • 222

Cheers, owens, see you for the next one – I hope

  • 223

Back luck Stormers. That was close in the end. At least they come away with a point from that game.

  • 224

hope this is the last of Coetzee!

  • 225

Next loss for the Stormers coming up next week against the Tahs. Eish.

  • 226

    nortierd @ 221
are the rumours true that Coetzee might be replaced? or are you not referring to that?

  • 227

Another missed opportunity for the Stormers
Except that my money wasn’t on them this time
The Reds need a 2 weeks break pronto, they are certainly have been through the wringer now

  • 228

Eishh, harties Jean and the boys, close.

  • 229

Kuk performance by the Stormers. They put themselves in a position to score many times, but stuffed it up with unforced errors most times.

Knock-ons, skew throw ins, stuff that should never happen.

It doesn’t help having Deon on the field as a turnover specialist if he turns over 1 ball and gives away possession 5 or 6 times in set pieces.

221 @ nortierd:The only positive sign for me went off with an injury!!! No, De Allende had a good game, Coetzee looked okay when he came on, but then so would a rugby playing dolphin coming on for Fourie, Notshe ok, JdJ looked solid – bar the hands and the looses ok. But all of these, I would expect. I won’t even start on the other side of things, I’ll just say Fourie!!!

the stormers had a tour from hell. but considering how pisspoor the teams were that they played they should have done more.

  • 232

I suppose I better get my shorts off and my jeans on and get to Loftus….

Remember, the game between the Bulls vs Chiefs is at 15:00!

That might be a possibility, but why Wakefield had to tour with them boggles the mind.
The CEO will only fly over if there is a crisis, the fact the went on the whole tour must have meant they were foreseeing this.
I just wonder how it affected the players with him there?
At this stage we haven’t lost at home and have lost all our away games, the same as the Lions, Bulls and Sharks.

    229 @ Stormersboy: Agree

  • 235

JdV uses ‘you know’ twice in a sentence
he must have watched too much american sport interviews?

    THANK-YOU

  • 236

    224 @ Ashley:
Read that Stormers have just got Gert Smal as Director of rugby. This could be master stroke for WP/Stormers.

    @ Just For Kicks:
jdj looked solid bar the hands? really? your going with that? lol

JFK, I only caught the last couple of minutes, so I’m not sure how they went prior to that.
We all know if Deon is hooker we will lose our line outs, that’s a given, he couldn’t even hit Bekker who is the tallest lock on the planet.
They are in disarray at the moment, but to lose the last game of the tour with a close margin after all the crap that went on and the injuries, I think it’s not too bad.

Kickers, can you do the Live Game Article for the Sharks / Waratahs game?

  • 240

Brilliant day here in Durbs. Great for rugby humidity not very high at all. Might rise come kick off. But not a cloud in the sky and not much wind yet. Hope it stays like this for the game later.
