Difficult one this, as much as I like the Crusaders, I’m hoping for a Chiefs win here

    @ Gena_ZA:
haha very productive, hope you can get better today so you could at least enjoy the weekend, also had my dreaded dentist visit yesterday.

The Crusaders you feel there is almost something lacking, while the Chiefs just somehow look even stronger than last year (sorry cell c-arks), the center combination for the Chiefs looks like a beast, two massive players (and they say South Africans are obsessed with size), while i think the crusader bench should be stronger than the chiefs. Tough one to call this, but I am backing home advantage.

I have gone for 4 away wins to 3 home wins.
Probably way off the ball, but it will take a couple of rounds to really start getting a picture of who’s who in the zoo.
Problem with SuperBru is, a couple of poor rounds in the beginning can set you back so far that ones chance can be over before it begins

    Morning to all rugga fans

Picked the Chiefs for a win need to stay on top.

  • 6

Morning all. I think the 6 Nations picks for this weekend are really difficult – gonna be some close games if things go the way I think they will.

    @ GoBokkeAndIreland:
It is like throwing a dice. my 100% pick result might go this weekend.

My Super15 pick lat week was also 100%…..

    ..
    .
    Wrong

    @ superBul:
Lol! I am always too nervous to go with the long shot on Bru. Took France, Scotland and Ireland – all by narrow margins.

  • 9

I took Wales, Scots and Ireland.

Went with a long shot on Bru last weekend, picked a Lions win and it worked.

  • 10

One of these two sides will win the comp.

I took al the home teams by 6
One hell of a risk, in fact a bit of wishful thinking.
Somehow the Italians look better under a coach speaking their own language. I expect them to steal at least one game and i went for this one.

    @ NZINCHINA:
Nz – still early days, but I have a feeling the final could be 1 of these teams vs the Sharks.

  • 13

6nations I went Wales, Italy and England
    3 tough games to pick

    Agree with you
    Probably Chiefs v Sharks

This tournament is like a marathon , only very biased brave people will predict the top 3. What about the Brumbies? Do we all believe in Jake White now? …

  • 16

    @ superBul:
I don’t necessarily believe in Jake – but the Sharks look good – but agree – still early days.

  • 17

    @ nortierd:
If I was braver I would’ve picked Italy. Despite the difficulty in picking – i can’t wait for the weekend of rugby to start!

I have a feeling that the Waratahs will be the Aus side to watch this year.
Beale there, Israel, after a great debut year, should be even better this year

    Approve

    For sure

I will make my decision on Jake and the Sharks after 6 rounds. I wonder if they wont revert to defense, defense, defense. The Sharks can work tries quite well. Hope that Jake does not go the negative way again.
At the Brumbies he was blessed and somewhat forced by the Australian assistant coaches plus the natural flair, to play more expansive.

    @ superBul:
The home ground advantage (crowd, conditions) could be the 1 factor that sways things this weekend.
