2013 Will end with a sad farewell to dedicated current Team Manager Wynie Strydom. But with farewells, come promotions and so Blue Bulls Company would like to welcome new Super Rugby and Currie Cup Team Manager come 2014, Tim Dlulane.

2014 is bound to be a big year for new Team Manager 32 year old Tim Dlulane. Having represented both the Vodacom Bulls and Blue Bulls and Springboks as a loose forward, Dlulane is well poised to take on the position of managing the first team.
Blue Bulls Company CEO Barend van Graan looks forward to the new appointment;
“Tim has been with us for many years in which time he has worked hard and smart. His dedication towards the Company, relationship with players, organisational strength and knowledge of the game resulted in him being an obvious choice.”
Dlulane’s CV is an impressive one with qualifications in sports management, coaching and refereeing. In 2009 he participated in a Professional Athlete Mentorship training programme through the Gauteng Provincial Government. In 2009 and 2010, Tim worked with SA Rugby as the logistics manager for the South African u/20 team.
Since January 2007, Dlulane has been employed as the Blue Bulls Junior High Performance Team Manager with responsibilities ranging from the management of budgets for Blue Bulls Vodacom Cup team, and Blue Bulls under 19 and 21teams, procurement of equipment and apparel, and day to day organisation. Perhaps his greatest responsibility has been the co-ordination and management of the Vodacom Blue Bulls Junior High Performance department consisting of 18 coaches, doctor, physiotherapists, biokineticists, masseuse and baggage master.
Dlulane looks forward to filling the big boots of Wynie Strydom;
“I have learnt so much from Wynie and look forward to continue with the current structures and powerful team ethic that is synonymous with the Blue Bulls family.”
It is always difficult to follow in such a great characters footsteps.

Dlulane had a short time at the bulls but quickly grew to legendary status for us true blue supporters, awesome to see him involved!

Well done with the promotion Tim Dlulane wish him all the best in his new role. Did wonder a while ago when superBul brought it to attention that Wylie Strydom was retiring at the end of the season who could possibly take over from the man who had become a permanent fixture at the Bulls, so its encouraging for continuity that we have promoted from within, no doubt Tim will have had a lot of time to learn from Wylie. Tim has his own impressive credentials looks like he has done the hard yards on his way up.
I just checked again, fractured the vertebrae in his neck when he hit Earl roses hip with his head.
Yip it was a pity that Tim Dlulane had to stop playing he was a solid flank who did well even getting a Bok call up

Ouch that would have been hard to get through, its good though that he remained involved in the game and just channeled his talents in a different way
I see Tim Dlulane there at Loftus every so often, well spoken gentleman… and did well as manager of the Junior sides!
I remember Tim Dlulane’s injury very vividly, and he was getting better every game he played at that stage.

Earl is daar in die Strand, hom onlangs in die Spur gesien met sy geelkop wederhelfie en hul dogtertjie. Die ou lyk nog ‘sharp’, blou bandanna en zol agter die oor, hehehehe! Lyk hy is kwaai op die papegaaislaai…
