must say that Pieter Roussouw does not have any positive influence in our back line play. Maybe he is not allowed but our talented backs look stale.
Let’s see if the bulls coaching staff can identify the problem. Too slow of the line; waiting mostly on defence for attackers to come to them; too slow to the breakdowns; on attack the first receivers get the ball standing still. Saw Speis a couple of times. Are the other two bulls loose forwards actually on the field? Chillibin is the bulls best loose forward at this stage.
Serfontein need to receive flat ball so he can run with speed into the holes. Bulls are nullifying that talent with their inability to create front foot ball. Unless the bulls come out and play with more speed onto the ball/tackles the Cheetahs are going to win this match.

Pass to the next guy to crash it up. Serfontein must be wondering when is he going to receive a ball from a 10 who doesn’t stand so deep that the flankers need a bicycle to reach him
Bulle het nie voorspelers wat die bal oor die voordeellyn kan vat nie. Arno kan en ‘n fikse Dean en Willemse kan, maar nie die ouens wat nou op die veld is nie. Dewald en Stegmann nie sterk baldraers nie.
Bulls best loosie, Arno Botha, is on the bench. The Cheetahs loosies are better than the Bulls loosies, so far.

That problem is really easy to see. Steyn stands way to deep. No flat ball.
Just look at the Crusaders vs Bulls and vs the Chiefs game in 2009. Steyn created 0. Du Preez made 6 tries. Just with a flat pass or a pass to someone running at a angle. Steyn received man of the match but what do they know when a def chip from Du Preez created a try for Habana and Stransky yell out what vision from Matfield when in reality Matfield was hanging in the backline and pass the ball to the guy next to him who was covered by three guys
