Ireland have injury concerns over flyhalf Jonathan Sexton and have called up recent debutant Paddy Jackson and the uncapped Ian Madigan for the training panel.

Whilst Sexton is an injury concern he has been included in the squad as well as Mike McCarthy, Donnacha Ryan and Craig Gilroy.

Both Robbie Henshaw and Daren Cave were not considered due to picking up concussions while playing for their provinces over the weekend.

The other uncapped players involved are Leinster duo David Kearney and Eoin O’Malley, Ulster’s Robbie Diack and Tommy O’Donnell of Munster, with Diack’s provincial colleagues, Dan Tuohy and Andrew Trimble, also drafted in.

A full medical update will take place tomorrow at the Ireland team media session at 1pm, but none of the 32 members of the squad have been ruled out of contention for selection against France.

    Rob Diack?
    Interesting.

When O’Gara has come on in the last two games he has played quite poorly so no real surprise there, this is something that the selectors should have done before the last game with Madigan a good option too but they maybe weren’t brave enough to go with two rookies at test level. Interesting to note that former WP man Robbie Diack has been included in the training squad, wonder if he will make the match day 23 though.

We’re fine this side too, just bloody, bloody tired man.

Was up until 03:00 this morning after we eventually arrived home from going to the West Rand yesterday afternoon. Went there to friends to set up a network for them seeing as Handbriekie and the wife on the other side will be starting up a collaberation in business together when Handbriekie finishes at the Newspapers (she has resigned and they have big plans ahead).

Freegin Network was troublesome man, with one of the 2 Network printers being a Canon Wi-Fi jobbie which had great trouble interfacing with the 5 PC’s and Notebooks on the other side (also Wreless). But you know me, I am a perfectionist in my work and was’nt happy till EVERYTHING was spot-on, all scanning and printing off both Network printers, file sharing all set up and the Video Conferencing and Whiteboarding software all set up… mail accounts done and old mails imported into the new Outlook Accounts ect.

So, I’m a bit frail this morning!
