Only another 2 hours to go till kick off am sure your nerves will manage, this is one of the many reasons why we follow sport – the anticipation and excitement (yes even the nervous stuff) ahead of such a big occasion for our team, there is a time to be logical and level headed and keep perspective but then also a time like now for you guys to just let the passion take over and enjoy the big moment.

Talking about big moments in sport and passion it was so nice to see Le Clos’ dad being interviewed on the BBC last night just after his boy won the silver, he was just so proud and bubbly with his flag on his lap and really funny relating a story about how people have been stopping him in the street now and wanting there photo taken with him and making the loud sounds of a baby crying when someone passed the baby to him for a photo, this all on our national TV such a breath of fresh air where everything is so ‘choreagraphed and properly done’, no airs and graces from him and he was just singing the praises of the British people at the Olympics, was just a really nice thing to see.
‘Showers, easterly breezes, temp dropping to 6 degrees C’ during the match…..and ‘Kiwi Welsh’ to top it off. Sounds like a really kuk day for us over there in ‘The Land of the Long Moaners and Groaners’.

@16 Saw the toppie during the interview after the gold medal, I believe it is to most watched interview on tv over there. It was really funny at the end when he realised he was on live tv! But the old boy was over the moon, and rightly so. His laaitie is making a shyteload of money in the process as well, so it was a good investment encouraging him to persist with swimming.
