HIERDIE week gaan die Cheetah’s wen 🙂

    Waar de hel almal?

  • 6

Hurricanes, Brumbies & Reds team sheets added

Good to see Liebenberg back in the hotseat, somehow, Fourie just isn’t cutting the mustard. Sinclair at No.8 was pretty obvious, and Don Armand makes it ahead of Fenton-Wells. Toetie says, though, that he is really after an out and out No.8. So don’t expect Armand to be there too long, if he can find one.

If we don’t get a bonus point out of this match, I will be very, very disappointed.

  • 8

Lions, Stormers & Cheetahs team sheets now also added

  • 9

    #7 @ JFK,

Prepare toi be dissapointed. The only bonus point the Stormers are likely to get, is a losing one! I am not being unduly negative, but if they couldn’t put away, a misfiring Cheetahs team (the worst half I have ever seen them play), then I fear, they will not put 4 tries past a Waratahs team, that play a pretty structured game too.

Is it just in my neck of the woods, or is it your experience as well that a lot of Internet sites take forever to open… sites like rugby365 and a few others.

Rugby-Talk is quick, nothing wrong here at all… but some others… eishhhhhh

Could be something wrong with the links to Europe, because the sites hosted from the USA, seems OK.

  • 11

    10@ grootblousmile:
    YES experiencing the same.

Only RT is working well. Have a problem to post or read any thread on keo, rugby365, sports24 and sharksworld. All are taking forever to open.

Thought it was once again my pc, but probably not.

  • 12

    10@ grootblousmile:
Sports24 seems to be working okay for now too. Had a problem to read there earlier. All the others are taking forever to open. So can’t be bothered for now.

  • 13

    11 @ Puma:
All sites open fast now… let me share how I overcame the bottleneck.

Simply restart your ADSL Modem / Router… it will automatically allocate new DNS servers (Domain Name Servers) to enable new and faster resources.

OK, OK, I did some other tuning and stuff as well… used one of my other ADSL Usernames & Passwords (I have 4 different ones) but you won’t have the luxury of switching between ADSL Usernames & Passwords.

But the simple reboot and renewing of new DNS leases should nonetheless do the trick…

Yesterday I received a phone call from an erstwhile client of mine in Middelburg, Mpumalanga…

They had an IT Techie there who was re-doing their network, after they had moved premises, and who decided they needed some new freegin 3G Modem Router, why the freegin hell I don’t know, nothing wrong with the old one.

Bottom line was this oke did not even know where on a PC to look what IP address was allocated to the PC and what the IP address was of the Modem / Router acting as the DHCP server (assigning the IP addresses to PC’s).

That is scary shit, because that is probably the foundation upon which ANY Networking knowledge is built…. I shudder to think what he actually knows about PC’s and software, not even mentioning Networking. My son, BonzaiGBS could tell you blindfolded how to look and where to look for those things and although trained by me certainly does not qualify or purport to be an IT Techie or to earn money from an IT Gig.

Despite the fool clients still owing me money from way back, I helped the poor dude on the phone….

Geeez, I don’t know how some people get by in life!

So, my message is… just like it is not wise to use backyard mechanics to fix your car or to go to a quack for medical advice… use a freegin proper oke for your PC stuff, someone who is a perfectionist and someone who knows what is potting. There are many sharletons wondering the streets….

    13@ grootblousmile:
    Thanks gbs, will try it.

You know I only blog on keo, RT and Sharksworld, but do enjoy reading some of the threads on Sports24 and Rugby365. Also read sometimes Ruggaworld. Well read those if I have time. So will reboot now and see if it works faster.

See you have creeped up on Superbru? How you do it? hahahaha. Jeez I am rubbish this year.

Okay out of here now. Going out to eat AGAIN tonight…hehe. Feels like am on a permanent holiday..hehe.

  • 16

    15 @ Puma:
Man, I’ll be honest and say it probably is pure luck… because this year’s Super Rugby is freegin difficult to predict!

  • 17

    16@ grootblousmile:
Now have no idea what happened to my post after submitting it??????????

Yeah it has been a difficult year predicting wins on bru. I have been rubbish this year. Actually you know I almost, almost went with the Rebels last week. Then thought don’t be a complete idiot!!! hahaha. I should have and just might have gone up a bit. Just can’t get it right.

Okay out of here now. Still have the visitors here. Will catch up later or tomorrow.

Oh before I go, when I logged on I noticed 20 visitors online. You should try and get some of them to log on here and chat. This has to be the very BEST site to blog on when the rugby games are on. No other site comes close to your site gbs when the rugby is on. You give us commentary from the 1st min until the last and keep the scores updated right until the end. Keep up the good work. Think many must follow the games here while at work on a Friday. If I am busy and can’t watch or blog I normally am here keeping up todate with the rugby that is being played.

    Now really out of here.

  • 18

    17 @ Puma:
Thanks for the compliment on the site…

I also think we have freegin awesome Live Game Articles…. it is really great stuff!

  • 25

4 More team sheets added – Crusaders, Blues, Waratahs & Force

  • 26

Sharks team Sheet also up now

Still no Willem Alberts, not even on the bench. Sharks team seems to be settling now in their combinations… should be a long day for the Cheetahs this weekend.

Correction… Willem Alberts is on the bench in place of Pieter-Steph du Toit.

  • 27

    Go my Sharkies.

Good setteled team expect that Ludik is injured and that is a huge pity as he was playing superb the last two weeks.

    Awesome bench as well.

  • 28

    20@ sharky_forever:
    Howzit brudda,

Jeez just make time……hahaha. Only takes a few seconds to put in the picks, well could be why I am so rubbish at it. Hardly think just quickly put them in.

  • 29

    27@ Puma:
    meant = except

  • 30

    Gbs,

You should make a space where we can see who is online while posting from a thread. If we want to see who is online we have to go back to the home page. Or am I missing something again?
