    Go Bokkkeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fury Motor Group’s Rugby Development program in JHB just culminated in them giving a Chevy spark to the winner of a raffle held by the participating clubs and schools.

The Fury group sponsor 30 schools, and clubs in the Lions catchment area with jersies, shorts, socks, training kit, warm up kit and kit bags every year.

They’ve been doing it since 2007. Th proceeds from all of the raffle tickets go to the school club.

It’s a great initiative that Fury kept going even through the rough times of the financial recession of 2008/9.

    Hats off to them.

If you live in JHB and want a new car, look at people that support Rugby development, get down to a Fury dealer and support them.

    Enough of the advertisement bs.

Lions v WP. A very good source has informed me that Catrikilis is definetly NOT 100% FIT, but that Coetzee and co insisted that he play today, despite the player feeling he’s not ready!

    Desperate times, desperate measures?

Its good to read that money is being invested at the lower levels of the game Scrumdown Approve

So looking at the world cup.

If ABs and France go all the way. It will be two teams from the same pool in the final.

If Boks and Wales go all the way. That too will be two teams from the same pool in the final.

I think Wales will beat France. This is their first semi final ever in a world cup. Good for them. Then if we lost to them in our pool game. Think we would also have beaten Ireland and France. Easy draw that side.

Heck nervous for our Boks tomorrow. BUT think we are gonna win it. We won’t do down without a massive fight.

See Oz said they prepared to play ugly rugby to beat us…….hahaha. Bring it on! Play into our hands and we will beat them. The only way they will beat us is by playing their natural attacking game.

    @ Puma:7 do = go

Okay off to watch this game. Go Lions. Sharks want a semi final at home. Need Lions to win this one. 🙂

  • 9

Players coming out…. as well as the WP team…. hehehe

  • 10

    7@ Puma:
Not quite right Puma. Wales lost in the semi finals in 1987 to the AB’s. Got a hiding of note. Something like 45 – 6.

  • 11

@ Scrumdown:5 – Could be the same with our Boks tomorrow Sd.

Think JPP/Habs are carrying injuries. Brussow might be too.

Hope it is only niggles and not serious.

  • 12

    Game ON.

  • 14

Boks simply have to win tomorrow or i’m gonna have to kill someone.

  • 15

Looks like my source was right. Catrikilis’ elbow heavily strapped.

    Turn over Lions.

  • 16

    Knock WP. Attacking scrum Lions.

  • 17

    @ Scrumdown:10 – Okay never knew that.

Well this will only be their 2nd semi final then.

Think they will beat France next week and be in their first final.

They must have been smiling for a damn long time after they knew they were gonna be facing Ireland in the semi and not Oz. Probably pleased that they lost to us. Their draw is far easier than ours. We do all the hard work to win and top our pool just to go the hard route. Don’t seem fair. How things change so fast. My feeling though had Oz had Moore, Pocock and Digby when they played Ireland they would have beaten them. Well think they would have.

  • 18

    Come on Li…

    Come on L…

Fark, just can’t say it…. I tried, I really did

  • 19

    17@ Puma:
On today’s form they could well beat France. The Freanch have 1 dynamic game every WC, and it was today.

  • 21

    @ The_Young_Turk:14 – Absolutely.

They will give it their all. Had we still had Frans I would have been very confident. Hope JdV has the game of his life tomorrow. Also Morne and FdP. If they have massive games we will win it.

  • 22

Penalty Lions, just further than halfway

  • 23

Penalty Lions. Too far for poles. Taute for touch.

Line out 20m from WP line near side.

  • 24

    Tryyyyyyyy Bandise Maku!

At least he’s an ex Bull

  • 25

    TRYYYYYYY Maku.

What good hands by the Lions players.

The crowd is certainly alive here. Amazing what a few wins can do for marketing!!!!

  • 26

    18@ grootblousmile:
Happy-Grin come one gbs you know you can do it we going to have to rely on them and Pumas next week to help get us through, tell you what I’ll do it for you GO LIONS! (from me and gbs) Shout

  • 27

@ Scrumdown:19 – I think Wales will win cause they have been consistent. They looking very good.

My feeling they won’t win the final though. Whoever wins the semi in our draw will go on to win the cup.

  • 29

Hmmm. Killians boot needs a bit of educating IMO.

  • 30

I was reading on Sports24 that McCaw could be in doubt as well. His injury seems to be worse than they thought.

So if he is not there for the semi then Oz or Boks have a good chance. Can’t have McCaw and Carter out of the ABs side. Then they just not the same team.
