Sharks 53 / Lions 9 (Final score)

The Sharks hosted the MTN Golden Lions at Kings Park, Durban at 19:10 SA Time.

This was the live match discussion Article.

The sharks totally outclassed a lethargic and error ridden Lions side to book a home semi final against the Free state Cheetahs next week, where they will certainly carry all of the momentum.

The match was broadcast LIVE on SuperSport 1, SHD & M-Net on TV in SA.

Webster’s gonna lose patience with the Lions soon and send another to the bin.

  • 62

Hofman, another WP discard, no wonder we always fail at the final hurdle

  • 63

    59@ The_Young_Turk:Dang, then I’m all out of idea’s

komaan lions wys hierdie b afdeling wannabees wat julle is

  • 65

OK Mighty Lions. Good game to win this one. Not that much to choose between the two teams IMO.

None of them playing like champs at the moment.

  • 66

Why do my capital d’s always come out as smiley faces?

  • 67

In the words of GBS “lemoenetyd”.

  • 68

Must be Steve Job’s parting gesture to me

  • 69

    @ Scrumdown:
    the “immortal GBS”, please.

This midget Japhta, is fast becoming my mosr disliked ref! apart from stuffing up a few Cheetahs matches, his liking for shrill blasts on the whistle burns my ass! It’s on my wishlist that someone like Coenie or Ashley Buys runs right over him, by accident of course! wimp!

Been a long day of sport, F1 qualifying – Hamilton, Vettel, Button, Webber for the Korean GP

  • 74

    @ben,

  • 75

Ja groot Guppies nou al aan.

  • 76

    Bismark on

  • 77

Got to feel sorry for the poos Bastids that carry a team through the season only to be shafted when the international players come back.

    Part of life I suppose.

  • 78

It’s getting rough out there for the old Japhy bag

  • 79

Lions really need to score soon. Wasting far too many penalties.

  • 80

Sharkies desperately trying to give this game away

  • 81

    77@ Scrumdown:
    Should read “poor bastids”.

  • 82

    80@ Just For Kicks:
Not a great advert is it?

  • 83

Is that all the Boks on now?

  • 84

    Bit more excitement there

  • 85

No. Butch still on the bench for the Lions.

  • 86

  • 87

    Try Willem Alberts.

  • 88

Much better, Alberts the impact boy

  • 89

1 more try and the cheetahs will be booking their train tickets

  • 90

Offside from the knock. Lions go for poles.

Doesn’t look like they are too interested in going for the win. Looks like player preservation IMO.
