News from the Bok camp in New Zealand is that fullback Gio Aplon is injured and will not play on the weekend.

It is believed that Morne Steyn will fill in at fullback and the exciting Patrick Lambie will start at flyhalf.

Heinrich Brussouw has not recovered enough to play and will not be included in the starting 22. One wonders why Brussouw even went on tour?

Flip Van Der Merwe is set to return today and has been replaced by French based lock Gerhard Mostert.

This test will be a bloodbath.

WTF. So the Boks took a lock and a flanker on tour knowing that they were injured and probably wouldn’t play.

Now they want to play MORNE STEYN at 15? Are these people on the Amy Winehouse social network? When last (if ever) did Morne Steyn play at a decent level at Full Back.

To me that sends a message to Lambie that says, “Son, you seem to have some ability, but we think you’re a shit place kicker,so we’ll find a place for Morne anywhere.”

Morne will kick the odd penalty with a number 15 on his back, but will fukc up so badly positionally and tactically that NZ will destroy us.

Believe me, I’m not having a go at Morne here, but rather at the Bok management and coaches who seem to think they can just “wing it” against the All Blacks and hope to not get crucified.

They should be shot. Incompetent fools.

It’s not April 1st is it?

    @ Scrumdown:
No, it is the beauty of having Snor, Dick and Gold as your coaching staff.

Fukc me, I think I must go and find a place in the sun in the local park with a bottle of Tassies and dream about the days the Springboks were a real force in World Rugby.

This Union is busy making SA Rugby the laughing stock of world Rugby.

Can you just imagine Martin Johnson, Robbie Deans and Graham Henry sitting around the table in an pub somewhere discussing the 3 stooges (Div, Dick & Gazzer)?

Circus? Springbok Rugby can’t be compared to a Circus, because a Circus if fukkcing well organised.

Ah well, at least the injured players got some frequent flyer miles. I hope they pool them so the next poor twat taken on tour to carry the naartjies will get a free flight.

It’s no wonder the likes of Darren Scott take the p1ss out of Div on his breakfast show.

Maybe it’s time for a palace revolution at SARU. The problem is there doesn’t seem to be a competent person in the organisation.

    SAD, VERY SAD.

When my daughter asked on Sunday me if a team can score a 100 points, I should have told her, “Ja my kind, ons sal dit Saterdag kan sien wanner die All Blacks teen die Bokke speel.”

I wonder what Oom Frik du Preez has to say about this nonsense?

  • 7

I think we must start a new conspiracy theory.

Our coaching staff had been abducted and all recieved lobotomies.

  • 8

    @ biltongbek:
We don’t need to start a conspiracy theory. We should just abduct them ourselves and perform the procedure.

It would improve the collective IQ by about 75 points.

    OK, maybe only 20 points.

There are three things in life that are very important to me in life apart from my wife and son.

Honesty, respect, AND DON’T EMBARRESS THE SPRINGBOKS.

  • 10

    @ Scrumdown:

Well if their current IQ reaches 50 we should sell.

  • 11

I think collectively they are robbing some village of their idiot.

If their Iq’s were a few points higher we could water them, and they would photosynthesise

  • 12

    11@ biltongbek:
    I wouldn’t waste the water.

    Africa is a dry continent.

Let the fukcers dehydrate and, crush the remains into powder and sell it to Vietnam as Rhino Horn.

Everyone has a right to be stupid, but these fools are really abusing the privelidge!

South Africa’s World Cup prospects will be dented if they “take another 40 points” against the All Blacks in Wellington on Saturday.

So says former New Zealand hooker and captain Sean Fitzpatrick, who has long been an admirer of the proud rivalry between the two nations, but was well less than impressed by the Springboks’ 39-20 Castle Tri-Nations defeat to the Wallabies in Sydney last weekend.

  • 15

Meanwhile another local newspaper, the Wellington-based Dominion Post, suggested on Tuesday that current All Blacks captain Richie McCaw might start Saturday’s Test at No 8 rather than his more customary slot of open-side flank.

He reportedly operated in that position at training on Monday – Crusaders team-mate Kieran Read, the incumbent All Blacks No 8, is being rested this weekend – with Jerome Kaino at blindside flank and Adam Thomson on the open side.

The All Blacks name their team on Wednesday.

Wellington is slowly warming up after a bitterly cold snap, with little rain expected for the remainder of the week, so the All Blacks may be in a position to play an especially expansive game against a Bok side defensively chaotic in Sydney.

New Zealand will unveil a new jersey in Saturday’s Tri-Nations rugby Test against South Africa, risking the ire of a nation which regards the black jersey and silver fern as icons that should not be tampered with.

Fullback Mils Muliaina, who is set to play his 96th Test on Saturday said “there’s not much change at all. There’s still the blackness in it, the silver fern’s still on it. But the new design does have one drawback – it is so skin-tight it leaves nowhere to hide excess body fat.”

Have you heard? Elton John is going to sing a tribute to Amy Winehouse at her funeral. Candle under the spoon.

  • 18

Phew. False alarm with Amy Winehouse.

The police drew a white line around her “corpse”.

She immediately stood up and started sniffing it!

  • 19

    1@ Loosehead:
The only thing this will “test” is our patience with the Bok coaching staff!

  • 20

    gooooooooooooooooodmorning everyone!!
jeez, are you guys in a foul mood this morning!! 😀
yes, theres every chance that the boks might be humiliated on saturday
    but
i dont think they will be … i cant remember ONE occasion where a HIDING WAS EXPECTED, and it materialised!!

    now
i’m not saying we never received hidings … theres been 49-0 under jw, 53-3 under strauli etc etc etc,
    but
i dont think that anyone on those occasions predicted it
    whereby
bok teams, no matter which “idiot” coaches them (white, pdv or strauli) lifted their game whenever the talk of potential hidings surfaced!!

  • 21

    @ Ashley:
Great positive attitude Ashley, and i am also not expecting a hidding
Well that is off course if there is not wholesale changes made to last weeks team

  • 22

Ashley, as much as I would like to agree with you, I don’t think that with the current injury situation and more importantly, coaching staff, that the Bokke are in aposition to do much about being badly klapped by the AB’s.

  • 23

    lions4ever @ 22
😀 well, maybe we’re trying to force them to peak too soon? 😉
    😆

    Goeie wille flok!

The Smart move would have been to use Lambie at FULLBACK, that is after all a position he regularly plays at, amogst others.

Another option is Ruan Pienaar at fullback, for that matter… he has filled in there nicely for the bokke before. With Ruan at fullback Francois Hougaard could slot in at scrummie with McWokie on the bench.

Another option would be to use old Odd-one at fullback… also not too foreign for him.

A further option would have been to use Bjorn Basson at fullback, where he has played before and where the Bulls consider him as an alternative to Zane, when needed… bringing Odd-one in on the right wing.

I saw Morné Steyn play ONCE at fullback, and it was not successful.

I suppose the rant is fruitless until the team and squad is announced for Saturday…. eishhhhhhhhh.

  • 26

    @ grootblousmile:
Put anyone at fullback, and Lambie at flyhalf.

  • 27

    @ grootblousmile:
Hehehe. You been asleep all morning?

Vark that Tassies went down well, but now the sun is obscured by clouds, so back in front of the pc.

All in all, it seems that the indecisiveness points to a lack of vision where it matters. No wonder the Lions were so k@k when tricky was there. Hy is so deurmekaar soos ‘n poep in ‘n borrelbad, of kots in ‘n tuimeldroer.

Time for him to return to Durban like certain other rejected Bok coaches from the last 15 odd years. (Ian Mac, Staulie)

Nee man, ek het ‘n klient gehad… ‘n jong dame… moes mos my volle aandag gee….. hehehe

Hey, jy moet my bel oor daai Parraffien PC wat Ram kort, brudda!
