The Brumbies have had more ball and better territory but the Highlanders defence has been impressive. The Highlanders have finished their opportunities better but it will be tough for them to hold on in the second half if they spend the whole game tackling.

49 Speight is once again the runner in midfield and the Brumbies are on the front foot. They pour forward and Toomua comes close but the Highlanders were offside and Giteau knocks the PENALTY over.
52 Speight loses it in contact from the kick-off and this is good position just outside the Brumbies 22 for the Highlanders scrum. They engage early and the Brumbies carry it up but the referee gets in the way and the Brumbies will have the scrum.
