Sharks team for Stormers game

The Sharks have named a  formidable line up for Saturdays game against the Stormers.

With Ludick out injured, Odwa plays at 15. Injuries to Steven Sykes, Ross Skeate and Hargreaves see’s a new lock combination of Bresler and Mostert. There is a slight injury concern for Bismark. John Smit is attending JDV’s wedding.

15 Odwa Ndungane, 14 JP Pietersen, 13 Stefan Terblanche, 12 Meyer Bosman, 11 Lwazi Mvovo, 10 Pat Lambie, 9 Charl McLeod, 8 Ryan Kankowski, 7 Willem Alberts, 6 Jacques Botes, 5 Anton Bresler, 4 Gerhard Mostert, 3 Jannie du Plessis, 2 Craig Burden/Bismarck du Plessis, 1 Beast Mtawarira.
Subs: Burden, Keegain Daniel, Eugene van Staden, Daniel Adonga, Conrad Hoffmann, Jacques-Louis Potgieter, Jacques Engelbrecht, Riaan Swanepoel, Adrian Jacobs, Mark Richards.

    J-LP should never have left the Toyota Cheetahs.
    Never mind the splinters he will have piles if he doesn’t get a game soon.

    With the exception of No 15 Odwa, 5 (Bresler) & 4 (Mostert) this is the Sharks strongest side… if Bissie plays.

    Botes at 6 is at least a genuine fetcher, so he will have to do until Deysel is fit… Keegan Daniel is and will be the ideal bench option…. or maybe better than Kanko at No 8.

    Will be interesting to see how this game pans out.

    Sjoe-wee… not a bad team at all. But we will have to wait and see… the Sharks did not have the best night against a team that the Stormers had beaten only a few days prior… could all be irrelevant, but we wont know till the final whistle….

    I think its obviously not the Stormers’ strongest team, so it should be a good chance for the Sharks to get winning in 2011.

    Sharks team is about 4 players OFF their best combo, whilst the Stormers are about 6 OFF their best possibel side…. not much in it…

    No excuses….
