I saw Januarie at Checkers the other day. He looks to be in decent shape.

Remembering that round is a shape.

Damn, I would have hoped that Januarie was packing bags behind one of the tills.

He’s got a lot of talent. I personally think he;s a better player than Cronje. A little on the small side, but similar to Lambie, Jantjies, etc.

    And of course Dan Carter.

Gary van Aswegen is good, but Lionel Cronje is better. He made a stupid move going to the Cape. He should’ve moved to the Sharks, or stayed in the Free State. It’s ridiculous that a guy who showed so much talent as a junior and played really well when given a chance at Super 14 level last year before he was left home on the away leg. Cronje needs to work on goal kicking, but so does Lambie, and the other youngsters. Cronje’s kicking out of hand is better than Lambie’s and he is a fast guy. Gary played well, because he was getting game time while Cronje was watching rugby last year. Cronje is like Quade Cooper in a lot of ways, they need to put more faith in him, he’ll lose you games but he’ll win a lot more.
