The EOYT is about to kick off, I have taken the stats for the Autumn Internationals in Europe and though it would be interesting as a reference point to start off. If you look at this as the benchmark of what statistics tell you, and then add to that the relative form of each team taking injuries into consideration, this may be a basis to work from in predicting the outcome of the Autumn Internationals.

Herewith the average score per opposition team and winning percentage.

Australia.
Australia 32, Italy 15, win ratio 100%
Australia 30, Scotland 13, win ratio 86%
Australia 26, Wales 18, win ratio 69%
Australia 18, Ireland 15, win ratio 58%
Australia 19, England 19, win ratio 50%
Australia 19, France 19, win ratio 50%

Australia is looking good, Giteau has relinquished the kicking duties to O’Connor, so perhaps this will give them those vital extra points they have been missing out during the year. Their front row may still be a bit of a concern, especially against England and France. The last win against the All Blacks are sure to have lifted their confidence.

New Zealand.
New Zealand 35, France 17, win ratio 78%
New Zealand 28, England 17, win ratio 81%
New Zealand 34, Wales 13, win ratio 100%
New Zealand 34, Scotland 8, win ratio 100%
New Zealand 43, Ireland 14, win ratio 100%
New Zealand 45, Italy 12, win ratio 100%

Masters at the breakdown (even though not legal at all times), a very dangerous back line and with Carter and McCaw seemingly unbeatable ( or will everyone catch up to their new style of play)

South Africa
South Africa 50, Italy 22, win ratio 100%
South Africa 30, Wales 22, win ratio 88%
South Africa 34, Scotland 13, win ratio 86%
South Africa 22, France 20, win ratio 50%
South Africa 18, Ireland 19, win ratio 40%
South Africa 18, England 23, win ratio 33%

Started the Tri Nations poorly, left behind by New Zealand in technical execution and fitness. We have a decimated back line and with no midfield to speak of, what can our expectations be?

Argentina
Argentina 22, Scotland 16, win ratio 100%
Argentina 28, Italy 16, win ratio 80%
Argentina 21, France 20, win ratio 43%
Argentina 13, England 22, win ratio 20%
Argentina 23, Wales 28, win ratio 20%
Argentina 11, Ireland 17, win ratio 0%

Had a real mixed bag this year so far, got beaten by a Scotland team who seems to have settled (still can’t score a try though). Then they plaster France all over the paddock.

Form of teams (Based on what I have seen during the year, and also read)

New Zealand – great
Australia – great
South Africa – average (Too many injuries in crucial positions)
Argentina – average
France – average
Scotland – good
England – good
Ireland – average
Wales – average

My predictions.

Saturday 6 November
New Zealand 33- England 17
Australia 24 – Wales 14
Ireland 20 – South Africa 12

Saturday 13 November
Argentina 21 – Italy 17
England 23 – Australia 21
South Africa 28 – Wales 25
New Zealand 33 – Scotland 12

Saturday 20 November
Australia 30 – Italy 18
South Africa 23 – Scotland 18
New Zealand 45 – Ireland 18
France 27 – Argentina 20

Saturday 27 November
England 27 – South Africa 14
New Zealand 36 – Wales 18
France 21 – Australia 18
Ireland 21 – Argentina 12

You can agree or disagree, but in all honesty and as unbiased as it is possible this is the way I see it. Hopefully this will help with your superbru predictions.

I also see 2 SA wins from 4 against the UK Teams.. then a loss to the BaaBaas as well….

I see the All Blacks going on unbeaten.

I see the Wallabies possibly only losing to France.

The Boks should beat Wales, Scotland and England. Ireland will beat them.

Why so soft on the Boks? They gonna get klapped against everybody bar Wales me thinks! Maybe even beat the Scots. But the Oirish are a waitin first and I’ll eat my own s@#* if we finish within 10 this Saturday :/ Yip, you read correctly!

Like I said before. Only the Irish being overconfidenct can save us or some natural disaster. And the 1st mentioned is not gonna happen as the Irish ALWAYS save their best for the Bokke. Thank goodness I’m working come gametime…

I’ll also happily admit how wrong I was about the 3 stooges if we win. Not that they should actually get the credit, but hey, I would just be so happy if we can beat those Leprechauns!

One thing that the Boks and WP have in common : tell them how k@k they are and they can beat anybody anywhere. But tell them how good they are and they will go out of their way to try and prove you wrong!

Ag man, there I go again getting my hopes up!

Flark you lot of pessimists, i go for a resounding success tour by the Boks MY SPRINGBOKS. And i hope you are ready for the pok#er up your dinges. If i am wrong i will take it on the chin(no poker will get near me 😆 ), but really i did not even see this attitude from the Aussies after their 10 in a row from New Zealand. You guys dont deserve any success, hope you will acknowledge the wins with humble dignity.

I get the feeling we are going way right on this blog with the PdeV issue,we are lucky the type of bloggers of voldy is not here , or we would have had the same mudslinging here.

I am watching with abated breath , this team is so unsettled the only thing that can save them is the South African spirit. I am holding thumbs that we see heroics from these guys, and i am ready to jump on you pessimists.

The Irish will be spewing fire…we had better be ready, and I see the weather has taken a turn for the worse, cold and windy with rain, gonna be a tough on this.
    But let’s hope.
Have to win this thing up front, and tackle the living daylights out of them.

Cold, windy and rain in Ireland. Just the type of weather the Boks ALWAYS beat the Irish in…. Ag moer.
