Wales host the Wallabies at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff at 16:30 SA Time on Saturday 6 November 2010.

We look at the match ups and how the game might unfold.

Southern Hemisphere vs Northern Hemisphere recent history tells us the Southern Hemisphere have the advantage.

The Wallabies must be absolutely boyed by the win last week over the All Blacks and field an unchanged side, guided by the wily fox, Robbie Deans.

This team is getting better by the day, except for one department, kicking to goal… and in the heavier conditions up north goal kicking is of utmost importance. Matt Giteau has relinquished the kicking duties, a bit overdue if you ask me, and if you ask me James O’Connor has the mettle to kick very well.

The Wallabies, known for their exciting backline and intelligent running lines have some more armour in their arsenal, probably the best Opensider back rower in the world, David Pocock, who should once again be a thorn in the Welsch flesh.

Their weakness is still in the front row and the slingshot technique the like to employ to counter stronger front rows in the scrums.

Wales on the other hand is an unknown quantity at this junction in the season, but they have able game breakers in Shane Williams, Mike Phillips and they have a seasoned and strong front row.

It’s surprising that the terrier, Martyn Williams, is on the bench because they will need a proper counter for the Wallabie back row grunt.

It will be interesting to see whether Wales play the possession game against the Wallabies, as we have become accostomed to in all UK play in the last season.

I predict a Wallabie win, what else can one do when a team has just put the All Blacks away…. Wallabies by 18.
