England manager Martin Johnson has reverted to the starting line-up that trounced Australia for Saturday’s one-off Test match against South Africa at Twickenham.

Johnson had made a handful of changes for last weekend’s victory over Samoa, resting captain Lewis Moody, centre Mike Tindall, prop Dan Cole and blindside flanker Tom Croft.

All four players have returned to beef up England’s ranks as Johnson aims to finish the autumn international series on a winning note against the world champions.

Bath centre Matt Banahan, who impressed in the win over Samoa, drops down to the replacements bench in place of Delon Armitage, who drops out of the matchday squad.

Stade Francais flanker James Haskell also misses out, with South African-born Hendre Fourie providing back-row cover.
