Vodacom WP coach Allister Coetzee today announced his team to take on the Platinum Leopards at Newlands on Saturday 11 September 2010. Kick-off is at 17h00, and the game is NOT televised.
Having lost against a much improved Lions side at Coca-Cola Park last weekend, Vodacom WP will be looking to re-establish the early season winning momentum. They are still in second place on a now congested log and will look to capitalise on the return of the non-contracted Boks to bolster the team and earn valuable log points.
A full afternoon of rugby is scheduled for Newlands, with the Vodacom WP u19 side playing the Leopards u19 at 13h00 and the u21’s doing battle at 14h45.

KingPaul… Im sure that once WP has a healthy lead (or when they do), the will substitute Vermeulen and Fondse.
They Hoffman/Jantjies move makes little sense… Aplon used to play right wing in the S14, and JJ Engelbrecht is a left wing?
The only thing I can see him trying to do is to give Hoffman, Jantjies and Aplon experience all around the park, in case WP needs a major backline re-shuffle in one of the tougher games. Lets say Jantjies gets injured… other than Hoffman (and MAYBE Bax) who can play FB?
but thats just me, I could be wrong. have to say though, other than the strangeness of 14+15, this is a pretty damn good team. Juan back at 13 where he began, Jean back at province where he belongs, Koster back on the field…
