The Cheetahs have opted for a change at flyhalf for their long trip south to take on Western Province in Cape Town for their Currie Cup clash on Friday.

Cheetahs coach Naka Drotské has selected the more experienced Louis Straydom in the No.10 jersey, despite rising star Sias Ebersohn making the most of his run-on debut in last weekend’s 57-0 hammering of the Leoprads.
Straydom’s accurate goal-kicking earned him the nod ahead of Ebersohn, as Drotské admitted that he doesn’t want to miss out on any opportunity to score against the miserly Province defence.
WP have turned Newlands into a fortress this season, surrendering only two tries in their three home matches to date.
“You have to defend as well as Western province do if you want to beat them,” Drotské told Die Beeld.
On the bench the Cheetahs have made just one change, where Izak van der Westhuizen has been preferred to David de Villiers to provide cover in the second row.
