Consumate performance from the Blue Bulls in the 1st 25 min, thereafter they took the foot off the pedal way too soon.

Lions did well, but we expected that, considering the opposition.

The big upset was in Kimberley where the Kwas did bloody well to win from behind.

I expected a WP win against Free State Cheetahs, but it appears that the 2nd half (which I did not see at all) was a dour affair with the rub of the penalties going the WP way. Am I right in saying WP scored only 1 try and with De Waal adding the other 20 points…. they’ll have to step up a gear or 2 as does the Cheetahs.

    Hi all Gents
my beloved Cheetahs lost stubbornly against de Waal’s boot.
Willem de Waal is such a reliable pivot and outside-half.
In my opinion he deserves to be called into the Bokke squad.
Now let’s wait for tomorrow’s Premier Division referees appointments for next round (the 2nd).
I predict Jonathan Kaplan, Mark Lawrence and Craig Joubert will be appointed.
In my blog http://mondonuovo33.wordpress.com in Italian language you find updating news on the last Currie Cup’s weekend.
    Op die Cheetahs!
    Tot siens
