Victor Matfield and Zane Kirchner will join the Springbok rugby squad in Cardiff on Thursday as replacements for Andries Bekker and Butch James.
Bekker has a foot injury and has been withdrawn for medical reasons while James has been withdrawn by Bath Rugby Club amidst objections relating to the International Rugby Board’s June release window.
The Springbok management will confirm the revised Test line-up later Wednesday.
now it is worth watching. 😀 just joking 😆 fark it is a big struggle to get a team together for a farcical game.
Just saw on SABC news. Butch gets green light to play. So it seems Butch will play.

What a farce. Some other Brits player are going to play for the Baa Baas 😯 Seems as if they have got themselves in a knot here, saying the Baa Baas game is not a international but what the heck!!!!!! @ Puma: Sorry not IRB but the Premiership is going to challenge to stop James from playing. Really don’t see that happen as there are so many English players going to play in the Baa Baas game.

Remember we also bought Mapoe. He his a huge talent. Just want Mvovo though to play wing in the CC no Odwa. Once Mapoe is over his injury and JPP then maybe one of them need to move to outside centre.

I have my fingers crossed for Butch and Victor…I have seen Victor play live loads of times now, but still never close enough to hear him shout for the line out! Mind you I would not have a clue what he was saying!!
