Trinidad – South Africa won the first Test against West Indies before the end of the fourth day at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad on Sunday.

Dale Steyn took three wickets in the second innings to go with his five in the first to wrap up the first Test of the three-match series by 163 runs.

Steyn walked away with the man of the match award and immediately sent out a daunting message to international batsman the world over. “I am hoping I still have a lot more to go. I am however very happy to achieve the 200 wickets,” said the South African speedster.

The second Test begins in St Kitts on June 18.
