Joe Pietersen lost to SA Rugby?

Bayonne Rugby Club has announced the signing of WP and Stormers player Joe Pietersen.

Just as things start to look really promising for the Cape team one of their stand out players is set to leave them. Club President  Salagoïty announced on their website that they had secured the signatures of scrum half Julien Audy, lock Abdelatif Boutaty, some Aussie that no-one has ever heard of and Joe Pietersen.

This is sad for the Stormers as before his injury Pietersen was the form  SA 15 in the S14.

    Blame the Springbok coach he should have identified the talent and made the player aware that he is in the run for the bok team. Pathetic!! Best talent on fullback for many years. What a waste.

    Must also say: Big Loss. He is good, playing for the wrong team, but still good.

    He would be a great replacement for Percy.
    Pity that Danniler cannot kick for posts.
