    @GBS
    Howzit Cappie.

    my son is stranded in Jhb on an extended holiday, he cancelled his air france flight for last nite, they didnt know if heathrow would be open, then tried to get on a plane to spain as the british navy is picking up people, but all looking normal later today. The sunsets are much prettier with more red in the sky, this is the effect of volcanic ash.
    I thought the Bulls did very well and they have improved their overseas form….I predict a Crusaders Bulls final at Loftus, and it will be a very close game.

    Ek sit by die huis met griep…dit is my tweede dag hier, en ek raak baie verveeld, as ek werk toe gaan dan stuur hulle n ou huis toe so jy nie jou siekte kan rondsprei nie. My PA se vir my die “in tray” is nou n meter diep met huurkontrakte….nog n week daar dan is ek klaar, hulle het gevra ek moet aanbly asw konsultant, so ek doen dit vir nog n maand maar van my huis af, waarvan ek die nuwe besigheid bestuur/bedryf. Is jou Duitsland trip op die kaarte?

  • 33

    31@ Sammajoor – Say the word if I can help your son in any way…

    This Volcanic Ash thing is a big farkup…. hope it does not affect World Cup Flight Schedules…. I hea there could be more ash eruptions….

    Bulls have been good except for 2 extremely wayward games…. in both posession was undervalued and the breakdown points were lost.

    All games now in the last weeks are tough…. next week will be a difficult game between Bulls and Sharks….

  • 34

  • 37

    @33
    Danke Cappie, he is fine, he is with my wifes sister and they have given him one of the bakkies from work to run around in, so he could dump the hire car. The volcano is still spewing ash and the guys are worried about the other big one erupting too….who knows what will happen. The world cup management for the individual countries start flying out from 1 May, so we will see shortly.

    As much as I hate to say it, the Sharks will battle against the Bulls this year and its in the backline we have problems. I dont really rate Swanepoel, he is still learning and we dont know yet if he can be world class, but they have tried to emulate Barritt with him. Ndugani on the one wing is beginning to show some shortcomings and he has also definitely slowed. Goode is a crap tackler. If we play Ruan in that channel from the start and Kockett at Scrummie, then we have a chance.

  • 42

  • 43

    Troos jouself daaraan .

    42@ Sammajoor – We’ll have to talk OFF this Forum, I do not want prying eyes to know too much about my Patents….

  • 46

    blouste @ 44
    nuweland gaan VOL wees virrie final bru
    daarvan kan djy sieker wies!!

  • 47

    @40

    Ash its because you’re a WP supporter…they are doing great, but I dont think they will make the final, some of those ous are playing above themselves at the moment….and they may be able to swallow the big moment, but most people choke. This is why the Aussies who are going to be big contenders for the world cup are going to come short against the Bokke.

    I dont mean choke in a nasty way…the Sharks are famous for it…and its because their players are neccessary always from the top drawer, but the Sharks get the best out of them.

  • 48

    oops “not neccessarily”

  • 49

    @45

    mail me.

  • 50

    gbs @ 45
    hei

  • 51

    @ 46

  • 52

    Now the Bulls have no reason for choking, but they often do it against the Sharks….I just think they are still the moer in for what us Durban lifeguards used to do with the good looking Pretoria women. 😉

  • 53

    @51 jy “sien” alles.

  • 54

    4man

    Jy moet my verskoon maar daai een verstaan ek nie 😯

    Seker maar bietjie stupid 😆

  • 55

    Blouste

    Sorry … bolted off to a P&L Review … Just got back from hols & frankly did not care much about the P&L … I kept it simple with “Financially speaking I am operating 25% more efficient that then same period last year – does anyone have a problem with that ? No ? Good, we are done then.” I then took an early mark & came home 😀

  • 56

    @53

    As jy sien Duitsland in die toekoms van SA n groot deel gaan speel, dan is jy n “Siener”

    Ek dink glad nie, dat jy “stupid” is.

    Or as a wise man once put it, all that evil men need to succeed, is for good men to sit and do nothing.

    GBS is die nou politiek, en moet ek stil bly?

  • 57

    56@ Samajoor – Neewat, karring maar aan…. hehehe

  • 58

    Rp

    Well glad to see you are more relaxed…

    @ 56 4man

  • 59

    @55 RP

    Either you are running your dept with 25% less people, or costs are 25% down…what you are doing is called “obfuscation” 🙂

    Goldman Sachs have suprised everyone with their results….and when people started whingeing, they said “we have paid back the government everything we borrowed, with interest”, that is how the free market should work. I bought some Barclays shares at the bottom (not enough!!!) they have appreciated by 600%, they still owe the government money and the taxpayer is footing the bill…do I care….not really.

    Where are you at the mo, still in the East?
