Wiehahn Herbst has been flown to New Zealand to join the Sharks After it was confirmed that Deon Carstens will play no further part on tour.
Carstens injured his knee, and it is more serious than initially thought, there is also still no news as to the injury concerns of Odwa Ndugane and Keegan Daniel.
One could maybe read into the selection of Herbst that maybe the lack of form at Tighthead by John Smit or the lack of discipline has something to do with it?
Herbst is a Tighthead and Carstens a loosehead which allows for speculation that there is more in his selection then meets the eye.
I reckon this will be the first win of the competition for the Sharks !!!
