Lol not on top of the world because there is still loads of work to be done by the Stormers. Was a good game – we won we got the bonus point – and now there is still 2 home games left which we HAVE to win and get bonus points. This was only round 4 so I am not getting excited yet 🙂 The aircon is working but hell it is still so bloody hot it is not funny anymore
5 – Karen, this will be a tough week against the Canes. The kiwi sides seem to always bounce back after a defeat, but still see Stormers winning this weekend. Not too sure with a bonus point but feel they will beat the Canes.
Then should beat Cheetahs especially with Brussow out. Must try and pick up as many bonus points and also wins on the away tour. The 5 last games are tough games. Stormers are in a good position for a semi. Good luck to your team
Heat!!!!!!!!!! I hate it..hahaha. As you get older you no longer enjoy the very hot weather. As long as I have the aircon going that is fine. In Joburg at the moment so it is not too bad. Durbs is cooking at the right now. I only go back there next month. Hate the humidity.
Yes this weeks game is going to be tough and the Canes will hit back. Mmmmm hey I never under estimate the cheetahs lol. Team is in a decent position at the moment but we still have a few games ahead. Heat – damn CT is boiling – weird weather for this time of the year

So difficult to pick a good team with no BULLS players involved … 😆
hulle kan maar hierdie span teen die Wallisers gaan speel in die naweek na die uper 14 finaal. Bleddie goeie ene (as mens kyk he die ouens perform het Saterdag) Hoop net hulle hou hulle vorm…
hoor hier, ek wil net se, BULL SH*% met hierdie ding dat die Canes ge-jetlag was en wat de hel nog…
Die Canes het om die volgende redes verloor. Hulle het die Cheetahs onderskat.
Hulle Lynstane was useless.
Skrumtyd het die Cheetahs hulle gedrill.
Die Hurricanes speel sonder een van NZ se mees underrated spelers conrad Smith.
Cory Jane is ‘n freaking genius, maar die vleuls is tegnies nie so hot nie. Hulle kan hol en tackle, maar soos vir ons uitgewys is deur die skop skoene van Bosman en Olivier, het hulle nie rerig ‘n antwoord as jy goed skop nie.
Om die waarheid te se, geen NZ se span, behalwe die Crusaders en dalk die Chiefs het ‘n antwoord op ‘n goeie taktiese game nie. En die Bulle gaan dit vir ons almal bewys.
Die Cheetahs het eenvoudig gedoen wat hulle goed doen. Skop, jaag met BLEDDIE vinnige vleuls, hard gewerk in die vaste fassette en soos ysters getackle.
En o-ja, as die Cheetahs afrigtingspan DALK die lees, speel asseblief vir Sarel Pretorius… Naas Olivier het weer soos die Grikwa LS gelyk wat ons laas jaar gesien het.
Stormers take note. Speel vir Duvenhage, Lionel Cronje en Peter grant op 9, 10 en 12.

He may have his critics and has lost a yard or two of his pace, but he was not out of position once and played a big role in steadying the Sharks’ ship when it was floundering.

There’s never been doubt about his talent. He’s now hit a rich vein of form.

One of the brightest young prospects in this year’s competition. He may well be around for a long time top come and earn more than just a handful of senior international caps.

He may not be the most consistent player around, but when he is on song, he is an awesome sight.

It was an easy decision. Simply the best left wing in the world.

Tough call to make and it certainly caused plenty debate. Genia again showed how vital he is to the Reds’ cause.

8 – Ryan Kankowski (Sharks):
He is playing some of his best rugby at present and if his teammates can follow his example the Sharks will be on the winning track in no time at all.

7 – Juan Smith (Cheetahs):
He was immense on both attack and defence and his return has played a big role in the Cheetahs’ improved form this year.

6 – Schalk Burger (Stormers):
The Stormers need his physical presence and overall energy.
Bubbling under: Rocky Elsom (Brumbies)
5 – Andries Bekker (Stormers):
The manner in which he is beginning to ‘throw his weight around’ in the contact situation gives him the one dimension his critics said he always lacked.

4 – Ben Hand (Brumbies):
This was another very tough decision. Ben certainly didn’t win Hands down.

3 – Owen Franks (Crusaders):
We did debate this one a bit as well and while WP Nel made some strong claims, the Crusaders prop out-scrummed him (figuratively, of course!).

Another position where the competition was tough and the debate lasted for some time.

1 – Ben Robinson (Waratahs):
The front row was a really tough call to make in all three positions. Robinson was up against a World Cup-winning Springbok, who will now find a few dents in his reputation.
