Friends, muppits, moepels & mopkoppe,

Greetings from Rugby-Talk Central, I have 2 things on my mind…

Well, that is 2 things I would like to share with you lot of scoundrells.

Firstly, we silently raced past 80 000 comments in 7 and a half months, from inception. Is’nt this wonderful and an indication that things are running smoothly here at our favourite rugby blog?

Secondly, on Friday night and today there were veiled attempts at instigating the type of fights we experienced elsewhere and which was exactly the reason why we broke away to form Rugby-Talk. I have to commend EVERYBODY here for the mature manner in which those attempts were ignored and not commented on. Not one fight ensued… not one.

It speaks volumes of the type of bloggers we attract, the friendly family culture we have created and the quality of rugby discussed here.

I thank you for your contributions, from the bottom of my heart.

Keep enjoying the blog and continue to make it as special as it has become!

Goooooooooi Mieliesssssssss!

Regards

grootblousmile

28@ Puma – I guess that Jaco Pretorius will slot in on the wing, with Hougie moving to Scrummie.

31 – GBS, He is a good replacement. Bulls have depth so it is not a train smash.

  • 35

wat is nuus op die lional mapoe front

  • 36

32 – Smallies, sorry about the injuries to cheetahs. They were playing well. If your team never picked up any injuries would have no doubt they would have beaten the Reds this week and also had a good tour. Now 3 huge players missing that is a huge loss. Feel for the team.

35 – Smallies, I read he will be out for 4 months. Not so sure if that is true but read that. It is a long time. He was just starting to look brilliant too.

39 – Smallies, Brussow was a huge, huge loss. Then to lose Mapoe on Saturday too. Was huge. Now 3 players are out injured. Pity.

Juan still playing so well no matter what. Every week so far have selected him as my 7 on S14 team of the week.

Was hoping for Cheetahs after they beat the Sharks then that great win against the Canes. Thought your team would pick up some big upsets on their tour against some big teams. Now with those players out it is going to be difficut.

See Stormers too are without Joe and Blaauw. FdP also injured for this Saturday. Plenty injuries coming now. Hope no more for my team. We also have some injuries. Maybe a blessing as it got us to play Lambie at FB and John at LH where he was a lot better.
